Striking a similar escapist chord as “Emily in Paris” with its glossy imagery of the city of lights, the French luxury real estate show “The Parisian Agency” has been a banger worldwide on Netflix after premiering locally on TF1-owned channel Tmc in 2020.
“The Parisian Agency” revolves around the good-looking Kretz brothers, Martin, Valentin, Louis and Raphaël, who work with their parents to run a real estate empire while juggling their personal ambitions, relationships and occasional family tensions. In every episode, the brothers are helping wealthy — and sometimes famous — clients find their new breathtaking homes in Paris or elsewhere in France, and occasionally overseas. They’ve become full-on celebrities in France; Valentin and Raphaël even walked the red carpet at last year’s Cannes Film Festival. Now filming its sixth season, the series — which is surprisingly scored with American rap tunes — ranked as Netflix’s fourth most-watched show worldwide in...

90 Day Fiance fans were so sick of Big Ed Brown on their screens that they begged TLC to get rid of him. And, it seemed their cries were heard. However, this weekend, he talked about filming again. Is he returning to one of the spinoffs in the franchise?
Filming Somewhere Soon
The man who fans felt treated Rose Vega and Liz Woods badly became so despised, that even articles written about him get slammed for keeping him in the spotlight. However, after 90 Day Fiance: The Last Resort, fans probably want to know if Big Ed is filming for TLC now.
The man with short neck syndrome was thought to be filming for Netflix, but he strongly hinted that it wasn’t happening. However, he claimed on March 2, in an Instagram video, that he was about to get in front of the cameras again.

Consider Selling Sunset and all its drama off the market! Following the popular real estate reality series' most recent eighth season in September 2024, a new season is already on the way. According to series star Amanza Smith, Netflix has renewed the reality series for season 9.
"And we're back," Smith wrote on Instagram. "Who's ready for Season 9?" The star captioned a video of her walking in a black leather dress with gloves and boots, what appears to be a white piano handbag, and a slicked back long ponytail while on set. Season 9 appears to be in production!
As previously mentioned, Selling Sunset season 8 premiered earlier this fall on Sept. 6 with 11 brand-new episodes that definitely brought the drama fans have come to crave. Between Alanna's claims that she owns Pioneertown and the rumors spread about Emma, it was quite the season.

Bad news out of Point Place, Wisconsin: Netflix has officially canceled That '90s Show after two seasons. Deadline has confirmed series star and executive producer Kurtwood Smith's announcement of the cancellation, which also mentioned a slight glimmer of hope for fans.
"To steal Red Forman’s words… we aren’t going to be dumbasses… we will shop the show, because good grandparents would try hard to get these kids graduated from high school," Smith wrote at the end of a lengthy Instagram caption for fans of That '90s Show.
It's unclear where the sitcom will be shopped and how much interest there would be for the series to be purchased elsewhere. That '90s Show saw its viewership continue to decline with the two-part release of season 2 in June and August this summer, as part 2 debuted with only 1.8 million views and part 3 didn't manage to chart in Netflix's weekly top 10 most popular shows ranking.

Unscripted real estate television series traditionally welcome viewers into seemingly unblemished homes. There’s no peeling paint, mismatched furniture or structural issues. Instead, residences get a glow up — as does the buying and selling process. Much like “The Bachelor” franchise’s heavily produced search for love staged for maximum drama, reality real estate shows feature gloss (Celebratory champagne open houses and closings! Designer interiors! Stunning architecture! Fashion-plate agents!) minus airtime for the unsexy, less visually appealing nuts-and-bolts of negotiations and financing.
Is the view unrealistic? Ryan Serhant, of Manhattan-based brokerage Serhant and Netflix’s “Owning Manhattan,” exec-produced by World of Wonder’s Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey, doesn’t think so. He says his show is “the most authentic and real portrayal of the real estate brokerage business that has ever been on television.”

Chloe Tucker Caine, one of the stars of Owning Manhattan, recently attended Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, and she did not hold back reading Alexis Bellino.
When asked about the chaotic Alexis vs. Shannon feud, Chloe instantly took the side of Beador and called out Alexis for keeping their drama in the headlines. “It’s just, like, ‘Girl, get a life. Do whatever it is that you do. Like, enough,” she explained. “It’s like she’s trying to keep sticking it to Shannon,” she adds, “and Shannon’s like, ‘I want to move on.’”
This checks out, as Bellino is continuously speaking of Shannon and it’s not vice versa, or at least not yet. For instance, after Shannon got a DUI, Alexis alleged in a Season 18 episode that she had video footage of what took place the night of her arrest, via her fiance John Janssen, who...

Bad news for fans of Netflix's real estate reality series universe: A fan-favorite title was just put on the market. Unfortunately, Buying Beverly Hills was canceled by Netflix after two seasons. Don't let the "on the market" pun fool you, though. The series isn't being shopped to another streamer or network.
Buying Beverly Hills first made its premiere on Netflix in November 2022 and returned for its much more dramatic and talked about second season in March 2024. The real estate series followed the personal and professional life of Mauricio Umansky and his staff and fellow real estate agents at The Agency.
In season 2, the series traced the dramas in Umansky's split from Real Housewives star and Halloween actress Kyle Richards. The series also starred three of their four daughters, Farrah Brittany and Alexia Umansky, who work with Mauricio at The Agency, with Sophia Umanksy joining in season 2.

Exclusive: Netflix has opted not to renew Buying Beverly Hills for a third season. The news comes months after the show’s second season premiered in March.
The unscripted series, which premiered in 2022, centered around Mauricio Umansky and his staff at The Agency, which included his daughters Farrah Brittany and Alexia Umansky.
Sources say the cancellation had to do with the viewing numbers versus the cost of production.
Although Buying Beverly Hills will not move forward, Netflix has similar shows on deck like Selling Sunset, Selling the Oc, and Owning Manhattan.
Season 2 of Buying Beverly Hills leaned into the real-life drama between Umansky and his marriage to Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards. Umansky openly discussed his marital troubles on camera, and the Netflix series also featured several appearances of Richards.

Ryan Serhant's knack for blending personal narratives with real estate makes the show incredibly captivating. Although season 2 of Owning Manhattan has not been confirmed by Netflix, there are hints of a potential return.
Owning Manhattan season 1 was so good that season 2 seems to be right around the corner. The week that includes the July 4 holiday is usually a big one for streaming services — but it’s never been as big as this year.
Nielsen’s streaming content ratings show the week of July 1-7 as the biggest one ever since the measurement firm began regularly tracking streaming several years ago. TV users spent 313 billion minutes on streaming platforms for the week, and for the first time, every entrant in the top 10 overall titles had at least 1 billion minutes of viewing.
The previous biggest week came just seven days earlier, when seven of the overall top 10 crossed the billion-minute mark. Nielsen also says July 7 was the fourth-largest streaming day it has ever tracked, behind Jan. 13 — when Peacock had an exclusive NFL playoff game — and Feb. 17-18, which was both the Presidents Day holiday and had a cold snap keeping much of the country indoors.

“Love Island USA” has hit its stride.
Season 6 of the Peacock reality dating show was the No. 1 most-watched streaming original series in the U.S. during the week of July 5-11, hitting 919.1 million minutes watched, per Luminate. While Season 6 has consistently ranked on Luminate’s charts since its debut during the June 14-20 window, this has been its biggest week by far, marking a 61% jump in viewership from the previous week and a 257% increase from its debut week. Of course, much of the increase is due to the sheer amount of content now available — 27 episodes had been released by July 11 — but it’s clear that the series’ popularity has seen solid growth over time.
The No. 2 title of the week was “The Bear” Season 3, which hit 630.7 million minutes watched in its first full week of availability on Hulu. “The Boys” Season 4 followed with 471.4 million minutes watched during this window, which...

Owning Manhattan, a Netflix reality TV show, follows real estate agent Ryan Serhant and his colleagues in New York, offering a mix of schadenfreude and unattainable wish fulfillment. The show's focus on office drama and romantic feuds detracts from its real estate content, making it more infuriating than enjoyable for viewers. Critics argue that the show's lack of credibility and excessive greed make it an upsetting reminder of the widening wealth gap and the unattainable luxury lifestyle it portrays.
As the division between the haves and have-nots widens in 2024 and beyond, Netflix's infuriating reality TV show Owning Manhattan isn't helping. The Selling Sunset spin-off series follows hot-shot real estate agent Ryan Serhant and his egotistical brand of schmoozing with clients in New York's most affluent borough. While some have suggested the spin-off is superior to its predecessor, Owning Manhattan offers a mix of schadenfreude and unattainable wish fulfillment that conjures...

To be lured back from his hiatus from the reality TV universe after 10 seasons on Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing: New York, NYC-based celebrity broker Ryan Serhant knew he wanted to do something different. “I didn’t want to make Million Dollar Listing: New York 2.0, or a spinoff of Selling Sunset, which has its own distinct style,” he says. “So, we’ve created a concept of elevated reality.”
The new concept, Owning Manhattan, launched Friday on Netflix. In many ways, it feels soothingly similar to the slew of other popular real estate reality fare like Selling Sunset and Buying Beverly Hills: luxury listing porn, feuding peacocking agents, high-stakes sales. Owning Manhattan showcases Ryan Serhant's real estate brokerage, highlighting unique approaches to selling NYC properties.
