Ironic how this was hosted by Netflix after what they tried to do to actors with image rights, AI and pocket change for views...
It was fine, I no longer wonder marvel at seeing the stars in shiny clothes, plus all my idols have aged and it's kinda sad really, plus like I said countless times, I can't get into the younger ones.
Had some funny bits, some dull bits, some awkward bits, I seem to have a nostalgia for the funny bits of old that used to amuse me loads, but that could be my memory and my age playing tricks on me. I am no longer easily amused and that's the sad reality of it all. Except for Ricky Gervais, he was a brilliant host. That's the host I want. Truly.
Anyway, Fran Drescher's speech was kinda meh, Jane Fonda's so and so, but what a legend indeed. The Brits never disappoint. Shogun cleaned the house. Emilia Perez... nope, not gonna watch it. Wicked? Same. Timmy was a little sanctimonious, which surprised me.
Anyway, good enough to pass the time.
