All of them are pretty good I really loved muffin unboxing that minisode was very fuuny and diserved the praise it got. But I think the rest are ok a little short then I wanted it but other then that it was a very good selection of good adventures with the healer family and I hope in the future the minisodes survive. Because I love the concept of the minisodes and I hope in the way way future these type of episodes make it and become popular because this show never disappoints. The regular show of bluey that is 7 minutes long is good. I hope they to make more minisodes in the future praise to bluey.
I remember in one of the interviews Joe said he would only made these if he felt they'd be great. He also said that his kids grew and it's hard to reach unto that 4-6 y.o. World.
Yes I read his interviews. Because I'm a big fan. I'm in my mid 40s and this is my 2nd fav tv show ever. The 1st one is adult. I watched all 3 seasons with my kid I don't know how many times. And yea I still enjoy every episode and they still make me laugh and go "oh nooo, poor daddy" all the time.
Having said that it feels like Joe broke his promise. The minisodes feel forced. Bandit is rambling too much. There's no "moral of the story", no depth. Some feel downright cringy (like the one where Bandit is in bed rambling non stop and neither me nor my kid could understand anything he was saying). They overuse kids laughter sound samples like 50 times in a row in some and that make them obvious copy/paste. The whole mini series feel very uninspired, and dare I say, boring. They don't have a glimpse of the regular episodes charm. At most a few feel like excerpts from full episodes. Others make you feel like, "what was even the point of this?".
These feel like they were written by someone who is definitely not in the 4-6 y.o. World but rather taking clues from distant memories of it.
They should've scrapped the idea and invest the screen time into 2-3 full length episodes. And they should've waited till they had the right material.
If this is how it's going to be, there should be no 4th season. Let Bluey stay in its absolute glory. Don't dilute the sheer brilliance of the first 3 seasons with mediocrity and filler material. Don't make us see Bluey as "boring". I'd rather rewatch those 3 than see a new boring uninspired season.
I hope Joe can find a way to return into that real 4-6 y.o world again. I don't hold my breath but I hope he does somehow. I don't want the girls to grow up, don't need any of that "coming of age" nonsense some are suggesting. It will ruin the show. Leave them at this magical age forever. This is what Bluey is all about.
