Laut Tengah

The storyline of this movie is actually very strong. Even though I haven't read the novel, I'm confident that the book offers a deeper and richer experience compared to the adaptation.

While the plot is compelling, the casting feels somewhat lacking. Even Aliando's performance falls short-his acting appears less natural. Among the main characters, only Yoriko delivers a convincing performance.

If the director had been more meticulous in selecting the cast, this movie could have had a greater emotional impact on the audience.

The editing also feels unpolished. Several scenes are incomplete, making the narrative confusing at times. A more refined editing process could have enhanced the overall storytelling.
