The longtime “Saturday Night Live” performer is the new host of Prime Video’s Pop Culture Jeopardy!,” debuting with three episodes on Wednesday, Dec. 4, followed by three new episodes weekly. “Pop Culture Jeopardy!” takes the beloved quiz show in a new direction, blending brainpower with all things pop culture. Live from Prime Video it’s “Pop Culture Jeopardy!”

“Saturday Night Live” star Colin Jost moves from behind the “Weekend Update” desk to behind the “Jeopardy!” host podium for “Pop Culture Jeopardy!,” a streaming spinoff of the venerable game show that’s coming to Prime Video next month.

The streaming service released a trailer for the series on Wednesday, which features the Emmy winner yukking it up with contestants as they compete in categories like “Famous Because the Internet” while trying to win $300,000 — and bragging rights that their pop cultural expertise is so strong that they won “Jeopardy!”

The trailer reveals that players will be competing in teams of three, with every member dressed identically, which gives it a “Family Feud” flavor “Jeopardy!” never would have had in the Alex Trebek era. (The flagship nightly program is hosted by Ken Jennings.)

“Pop Culture Jeopardy!” is produced by Sony Pictures Television for Prime Video.

Prepare for some gamified corporate synergy — Prime Video’s newest game show “Wish List Games” debuts Wednesday, TheWrap has exclusively learned.

The five-episode holiday special event is hosted by Nick Cannon, who has proven his hosting chops on shows like “Wild ‘n Out,” “The Masked Singer” and “America’s Got Talent,” and Lele Pons, the YouTuber, actress and singer who currently has over 18 million subscribers.

Each episode of the special will feature real Amazon customers competing for items from their actual Amazon Wish Lists. Prizes can range from everyday household items to aspirational purchases, and contestants have the opportunity to win up to $25,000 in goods from Amazon. Players will be pulled from the studio audience and asked to play in a rotating series of games that have yet to be disclosed.

Prime Video has released the official trailer and key art for the new holiday special Amazon Wish List Games. All five episodes of the special are set to debut on Prime Video on November 20.

A shoppable version of the special will also be available on the Amazon Live Fast Channel starting on Wednesday, November 20 at 7 p.m., with a new episode airing every Wednesday at 7 p.m. (Pt and Et), plus encore replays throughout the weekend for customers to watch and shop with.

Amazon Wish List Games, a multi-episode holiday event, is produced by MGM Alternative. Regina Hall and her Rh Negative production company have struck an exclusive first-look deal with Amazon MGM Studios’ MGM Alternative that will see the actress and her team develop and produce original unscripted true crime, ensemble docuseries and game genres.

The first series to go into development under the pact is “Squad Games” (working title), a competition series where celebrities and their real-life BFFs go on an exotic getaway and participate in wild challenges. The project is loosely inspired on Hall’s 2017 film “Girls Trip,” which she starred in with Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith and Tiffany Haddish.

“I’m so excited for this new partnership with MGM,” Hall said in a statement. “I’m positive that the relationship between Rh Negative and their team will be an incredibly supportive and productive one and I’m thrilled about what we have in the works.”
