A must see reminder of what rich stories are part of our history and Mike Rowe nails it! Just like the stories on his podcasts but these stories are specific to America's story. Thumbs up! We need to see these stories and be reminded that our country is made up of many and varied stories of different people and their part in this country's history. Here's hoping that Mike Rowe will continue to unearth these stories and keep presenting them to the public that really needs to hear them.
Also loved his interaction with the veterans and the "people on the street" talking to them about what their experiences were and the jobs they do. A moving and informative experience!!!

Definitely 👍👍 up!
Highly recommend this for everyone...especially if you have Grade School and High School age children. Great insight to our Country's history...with some laughs, tears and a few "did you know that?"'s thrown in.
Will make a wonderful movie to watch on your July Fourth Holiday. It is definitely non-partisan...it is Patriotic. Takes us through various eras of American history with little known stories of famous (some not so famous) people.
Certainly hope Mike and his team make this into a series of movies. My family will definitely be watching this again when it is Streaming.

This is one of my favorite movies in recent history. Consider Mike Rowe the King Midas of story telling. Everything he touches turns to gold. This movie will evoke emotions, patriotism, and a genuine warmth cradled in a sense of pride.
The movie tells stories of famous historical figures in a way that Engages the audience, while also delivering Intrigue. As the mystery unfolds and details bring you closer to the answer, You'll find yourself, guessing, probably incorrectly, and eventually landing on the answer or being surprised by it.
It's nice to see a movie that is pro-America and pro historical relevance. Thanks Mike!

Mike Rowe has always been an excellent storyteller and this movie was a great vehicle for that. Speaking of vehicles: the old Bronco definitely fit Mike's personality.
There were several vignettes that spoke to the backstory of American history. I learned a lot and it made me appreciate our historical figures all the more. Abe Lincoln called out in a dual with broadswords, Wow, Abe was a master at diplomacy.
Several of the historical stories were initially framed in modern times so as to demonstrate the absurdity compared to today's standards. Freedom was not free.
Mike definitely needs to make another one of these movies.

This was so different then I expected. No politics, no bad feelings, just amazing stories. Some were intense, some shocking, and some were funny. Its about truthful stories where you don't know who they talking about until the end of each one. The actors did a great job and Mike Rowe was fantastic in the voice overs. It kept my interest the whole time, and surprised me and my spouse many times when you found out who the story was about. It was like a great book with a set of mimi mystery stories with Wow moment amazing twist, The best part is in the end I felt good again about our country despite the current craziness. Well done. It was my favorite movie this year and the perfect one to see before the forth of july.
