The two-time Oscar-nominated actor, who was badly injured in a snowplow accident nearly two years ago, will preside over the festivities starting at 6 p.m. Sunday, December 1. There was a second Breaking Bad spinoff after Better Call Saul that hardly anyone watched, Slippin Jimmy and theres a very good reason why hardly anyone watched it. Ever since Better Call Saul ended with an equally satisfying series finale as its predecessor, theres been a lot of talk about what another series in the Breaking Bad universe could look like. The producers could make a prequel about Gus Frings rise to power, a sequel about Jesse hiding out in Alaska and trying to avoid being detected, or an original story set in the same universe.

The possibilities are endless for a new installment in the Breaking Bad franchise. Both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul rank among the greatest TV shows ever made the latter may have even managed to top the former, against all odds so the bar has been set very high for a new show set in this universe.

NBC is celebrating the winter holidays in a major way. The network will air 14 holiday-branded specials between Nov. 27 and Jan. 1.

These will include beloved classics such as the 98th Macy’s Day Parade and the lighting of the tree during “Christmas in Rockefeller Center,” as well as Thanksgiving and Christmas specials for “Saturday Night Live.” It will also include new specials like “Jimmy Fallon’s Holiday Seasoning Spectacular” and “A Motown Christmas,” which will hosted by Smokey Robinson and Halle Bailey.

Dutch sales agent Incredible Film has acquired international distribution rights ahead of the AFM to supernatural horror Jimmy, spinning off the short film Meet Jimmy which sold to Paramount Pictures.

The horror revolves around convicted killer Jim who uses a true crime podcast to take revenge on a group of friends, and Dilara, who returns to the town following the murder of a childhood friend and comes to suspect he using the supernatural podcast to reel in victims.

The movie is directed by David-Jan Bronsgeest and written by Tim Koomen, co-founders of the Amsterdam-based neo-horror label Bloodrave.

Aside from Jimmy and Meet Jimmy, their other credits also include supernatural boogeyman short Mr. Lonely, which was acquired by Spyglass.

Splendid Film released Jimmy in cinemas in the Netherlands over the summer to strong reviews, with one report suggesting it was the scariest Dutch horror film ever.

Rick Paul van Mulligen stars as Jimmy opposite Sonia Eijken (Zenith: Supercharged Family) as Dilara, with other cast members including Isa Hoes (Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden), Charlie Chan Dagelet (Dirty Lines and Hold On), Thijs Boermans and Sophie Bouquet.

Jimmy joins Incredible Film’s growing slate of thriller and horror features, which also includes Amsterdamned II, the sequel to cult 1980s original.
