Ryan McPartlin and Katie Leclerc in A Very Vermont Christmas (2024)

Trivia

A Very Vermont Christmas

Edit
Katie Leclerc is hard of hearing but not deaf, as her character she played on Switched (2011).
Steven Kent and Pamela Rice aren't screenwriters by trade. They own Furry Child Daycare, a dog-sitting business in the couple's hometown of Killington, Massachusetts, and started writing after Kent told Rice that as she had seen so many Hallmark films, she should try writing one herself. This resulted in them first selling the story for L'amour comme au cinéma (2021), which they weren't able to fully write themselves due to their other commitments, before being the sole writers on this film.
The third film in a row directed by John Stimpson to star Katie Leclerc in the lead after Il faut sauver la maison de Noël (2021) and Lettres magiques au père Noël (2023). A few years earlier, he also directed Réveillon à la vanille (2019) which already had Leclerc as lead actress.
Aired as the last of two original films in The Hallmark Channel's 2024 "Christmas in July" lineup.
Filming, initially slated to occur around Christmas 2023, was delayed by that year's SAG-AFTRA strike, starting instead in March 2024.
