Must Watch: On the theme of Elder care and Euthenasia

This is a Marathi language film starring Vikram Gokhale.

The film is on the theme of elder care and pathos of well wishers when a loved one is in coma. Vikram Gokhale plays Ratnakar whose wife is in coma. The film is all about the troubles he goes through to arrange money for his wife's medical expenses. Going to great lengths - and at times not minding self dignity - this true gentleman goes around seeking money. Children have their own family commitments and compulsions. Well wishers and social organisations do their bit, but it's not enough. He consistently refuses to sign the Euthenasia approval form..Eventually he manages to get in touch with a long lost friend - a former lover of his whom his wife didn't hence like, it's made to imply - but finds it hard to ask her for money. The ending will tug your heart

Vikram Gokhale won a National Award for this film - watch it for the theme and for his believable performance.
