Contrary to the reviewer who, I can only assume, had a bad day - I'd say this is very much a show worth watching.
It's a rather slow paced but well acted and planned out show. It sucks you in w/out you realizing it and I felt invested enough in the main character to want to follow it all the way to the end.
It does require a bit from the viewer which means it's not a show for...some people.

Why on earth was the beauteous and talented Niels Schneider appearing in this heap of nonsense with a cast of complete nonentities? Even he couldn't hold this together.
Told partly in flashback, this was so outlandish a tale that I was staggered. The denouement was utterly unbelievable. The acting was risible and the dialogue and situations portrayed were incompetent.
There was no tension, no vim, no logical progression from one scene to another. For instance, the break in at the private school in the third episode was grafted on as a sort of comedy. It didn't fit with anything that had gone before and we are asked to believe that there was no follow up by the gendarmes.
I watched the lot and more fool me. I advise others to give this a wide berth. Absolutely not recommended.
