The Odyssey cast continues to expand. Joining leads Matt Damon and Tom Holland in the upcoming Christopher Nolan movie are Jesse Garcia and Will Yun Lee.

Deadline was the first to report their casting in the movie. Both Garcia and Lee's roles remain under wraps. They join an all-star ensemble that includes Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Benny Safdie, and Charlize Theron, as well as Himesh Patel, Elliot Page, Bill Irwin, and Samantha Morton. Production on The Odyssey is expected to start in February 2025, with filming taking place in the United Kingdom, Morocco, and throughout the Aeolian Islands in Sicily, Italy. The movie will reportedly have an estimated production budget of $250 million, making it Nolan's third feature to carry a budget exceeding $200 million after Tenet ($200M) and The Dark Knight Rises ($250M).

Korean filmmaker Kwak Kyung-taek has responded to calls to boycott his latest feature Firefighters, sparked by recent political unrest in the country.

It’s officially official: Confirming TVLine’s exclusive scoop from earlier this month, Paramount announced Tuesday that Suits vet Patrick J. Adams and Good Doctor alum Beau Garrett are joining the previously cast Michelle Pfeiffer in the forthcoming Yellowstone sequel series The Madison. Originally titled 2024, the offshoot had been eyed for Paramount Network, but it’s unclear if that is still the plan.

The boss of Korean content streamer Kocowa has broken down plans to bring its line-up of K-pop, drama and variety shows to more international viewers.

Kocowa CEO KunHee Park delivered a keynote at NATPE Budapest, Monday. Speaking to Deadline, he said Kocowa is looking to partner with other streamers, pay platforms or telcos to get wider distribution for its service.

Kocowa is backed by South Korean broadcasters Kbs, Mbc and Sbs and telco Sk Telecom. In the U.S., its streaming service has Korean shows subtitled and available six hours after their local airing. Park liked it to “the Korean Hulu.”

Who Dies in The Good Doctor Finale?

Warning: This article contains spoilers. The seventh and final season of The Good Doctor will include the death of Dr. Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff). He returned to the show to say his goodbyes. Glassman told Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore) that his cancer returned.

It progressed to a glioblastoma. Dr. Shaun suggested they should try another treatment. Glassman assured him that it wouldn’t work. “It’s terminal. I’m dying,” he told Dr. Shaun.

As fans of The Good Doctor know, Dr. Glassman was diagnosed with brain cancer in the first season. At the time, he learned that he had four months to live. Dr. Glassman received chemotherapy and beat his cancer diagnosis.

Asher's death was bad enough. We don't need any more tragic endings for our favorite Good Doctor characters.

The Good Doctor Season 7 Episode 9 should have ended happily, with Morgan and Park getting married and Claire learning she was cancer-free. 

Instead, Glassman told Shaun that his cancer is back and that he's dying, while Claire collapsed right as she was about to get romantic with Jared. We only have one more episode left to turn all this around!

Penultimate episodes are a good place for tragic events -- if the finale is about moving past them so that the series goes out on a high note.

There's no reason to make the end of a beloved series so depressing that viewers walk away with nothing other than relief that the pain is finally over.

Except for those final scenes, this episode was quintessential Good Doctor.

Glassman's final storyline on The Good Doctor hits hard due to his daughter's tragic story mirroring his patient's. The emotional impact of Glassman's character is heightened by his real-life daughter playing a key role in the show. Glassman's final story on The Good Doctor packs even more of an emotional punch because of a behind-the-scenes fact. Dr, Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff) has been Shaun's mentor and surrogate father since The Good Doctor began. Throughout the series' seven-season run, Glassman has had many emotional stories, including his battle with brain cancer during season 1 and a rift between him and Shaun during season 6 after Shaun's interference demonstrated that Glassman was no longer capable of performing surgery. The Good Doctor is ending after season 7 but has given Glassman one final story.

We have a bad feeling about this one.

Updated, 10 Am: We’re getting the first look at Jim Parsons and Mayim Bialik reprising their characters Sheldon Cooper and Amy Farrah Fowler in the Young Sheldon finale.

CBS released some of the first images from the episode, which airs Thursday, May 16 on the network and streaming on Paramount+.

The pair last appeared on screen together in The Big Bang Theory series finale, which aired in May 2019.

The Good Doctor stunned viewers on Tuesday with the death of Dr. Asher Wolke — and on Wednesday, his portrayer, Noah Galvin, took to Instagram to reflect on his four-season stint on the ABC medical drama.

“I spent the last four years in Vancouver working away from my fiancee [sic] and dog and family. It was hard but these people made it really worth it,” Galvin wrote, sharing a series of behind-the-scenes photos featuring his fellow castmates. “I love you @TheGoodDoctorABC thank you for everything!!”

When I first saw the title of this, I naturally thought of the song by the same name that became a huge if not ‘Monster Hit’ for Bobby “Boris” Pickett at the height of the fifties and sixties monster craze. The picture takes the theme of sixties creature features and creates a bloody at times gore-filled Anthology of stories to shock, offend and make you go ‘ok’.

The Monster Mash (2022) directed by Kevin Losani and Richard Terrasi succeeds admirably with engaging pulp-like stories whose endings you can see a mile or kilometre off depending on your country. The difference is the work is so lovingly done, with fun, practical effects, at times over-the-top acting that fits and just a little tinge of naughty offence.

There's a fine line between asking for accommodations and demanding the world change to suit you, and Charlie crossed it.

On The Good Doctor Season 7 Episode 3, she aggravated Shaun with incessant questions, made inappropriate comments, and generally had the attitude that her Asd meant she couldn't help any of her behavior.

Shaun looked like the bad guy when he treated her the way Dr. Han treated him, yet he had more of a point than anyone acknowledged.

The irony of Shaun trying to force Charlie into pathology after Han doing the same thing to him was not lost on Glassman or Lim.

While Shaun's frustration with Charlie was understandable, it wasn't believable that it never crossed his mind that Charlie would feel the same way about it that he did when he was receiving it. Glassman's reminder that Han did the same thing should have made him think twice.

Is The Good Doctor finally getting back on track now that the series is ending?

The Good Doctor Season 7 Episode 1 was one of the strongest stories we've had in years. Shaun and Lea's conflict over Steve's schedule didn't take over the entire hour and complemented the main story nicely.

And Morgan was a lot more tolerable than usual, too. If this farewell season stays focused on change and growth, the series will go out on a high note.

Morgan's behavior throughout the hour was the opposite of what I expected.

She's usually fiercely committed to her path, so I predicted in my The Good Doctor Season 7 Episode 1 spoilers that she would fight bitterly with the other mother over the heart. I've never been so thankful to be wrong!
