It is not acceptable to treat senior citizens like "disposable items". They experience feelings as well. They need someone to confide in, someone to pamper them and someone who will be there for them when they need medical assistance. However, youngsters nowadays are egocentric and don't have time for this kind of crap. Although they may have millions of Instagram followers, when will they truly "follow" their parents, who have given up all of their joys in order to raise them? #JunaFurniture raises a really important point. Actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar is in top form here. His body language and his dialogue delivery are flawless. He also manages to extract good performances from the others. Running time needs to be reduced by 15 minutes. Rating 3.5/5.
Excellent direction and a must watch movie by every one.
In today's fast paced age, people are forgetting their roots. In this age of technology, our connect with people especially our close ones is getting less and less.
This movie deals with important topics like our parents and our loyalty towards them, senior citizens and our duty towards them, love and feelings towards each other.
This movie serves as a stark reminder of the importance of retirement planning, not just for individuals but for families as a whole.
Thanks a lot to Marathi Film Industry for delivering this epic film. Great acting by everyone and loved it !!!

The film addresses the most important suffering that most senior citizens face today - Loneliness due to Negligence.
The film is well made and the performances of Mahesh Manjrekar and Medha Manjrekar are superb. Even if the film tends get melodramatic at times, it doesn't affect the over all flow of the film. The film sticks to its message till the end.
Director of photography, Ajit V. Reddy needs special mention here. He has done an excellent job which takes the movie to a totally different level. His way of using the lights and shadows has created a unique level of depth in each and every scene.

The film is having a direct social connect with the old generation and well as it leaves a strong social message to youngsters of this generation who somehow are more connected to technology than to parents. It revolves around an old couple whose only son lives away from them . The father and mother collectively have burnt all their desires , made several sacrifices, given up on their nights to sing lullabies in bringing up their son and installing great values , making him capable to face the work through their hardships and sacrificies not letting their son know the pinch . The movie also showcases how a daughter-in-law is brought up in her maternal home where money always makes a difference ahead of relationships . But money cannot buy love of parents it's priceless ...The story is connectable to every generation and very true .Director and Writer Mahesh Manjrekar has aptly portrayed and played the character of the common father without filters whose sacrifice always goes unnoticed . This generation needs to understand that our parents have repeated several things with patience to us several uncountable times without getting angry or without getting irritated but when our parents ask something again and again why does it irritate us ?Why we donot answer as calmly as they did ( it's resonating and surely relatable to each and everyone of us including me ). In old age it's people who matter .You may have lot of money , status, followers on Insta ,FB etc but the truth is relationship lives for years together ...and tthe only thing parents ask for in old age is your time .
Life is a vicious circle and no body can escape this but we need to be sensitive towards our parents, they don't need money ,they just need your time ,your phone call. You never know when the last meeting will be the last ever meeting you had with your parents. Value them ,spend time with them as old age cannot be escaped ,enjoy every moment and don't blame them.
The movie is an eye opener to all those sons and daughters who find their parents as a burden ...the film at a point brings goosebumps when son suddenly knows his mother is n more ....such a heart wrecking event but surely a lesson to few of us .. Overall superb movie , apt for all generations to connect with an eye opener indeed to reciprocate .Superb acting by all actors . Truly old is gold . We need to always come back to our roots .
I am sure many of us must have called our parents that night after watching the movie .......if not please do call and visit them and enjoy the smile on their faces .

The movie is well written and well directed. Mahesh Manjrekar nailed it with his charismatic acting and dialogue delivery. The social issue is well addressed and the court drama really makes it worth watching movie.
The cast seems perfect and everyone is fulfilling their roles. The twist in the movie is also well planned and plotted. If you are willing to watch some of the masterpiece movies of the Marathi industry e.g. Natsamrat then this movie is really worth watching. You must have heard 'Old is gold' many time but after watching this movie you will start to feel it. Overall it is a absolute Masterpiece.
