Hotel Reverie

Black Mirror

10/10

Buckle your seatbelt, Dorothy, because Kansas is going bye bye!

Holy sht! This was such an amazing Black Mirror episode. Where The Matrix meets The Truman Show, meets Alice in Wonderland and... the wizard of Oz... in a futuristic, yet somehow hauntingly historic setting. Hotel Reverie isn't just an episode-it's a layered experience. It dares to ask the question: what is real, and who gets to decide?

This bold episode is -in my humble opinion- an exploration of Simulation Theory-the philosophical idea that reality, as we know it, might be a sophisticated illusion. This isn't just about VR headsets or digital trickery; it's about the nature of consciousness, memory, identity, and how technology might hijack or even recreate them.

What is real? Do we have free will? Who is at the control panel in Streamberry universe? And if we wake up, aren't we just still dreaming?

Without giving anything away, Hotel Reverie pulls us into a reality so meticulously constructed that we are invite to question our own.

Buckle up....
