The Daughter of the King is a movie about human traffic and modern day slavery. I think the whole point of it is to make people realize that these things happen right in our backyards. So this particular story follows Ashley Miller who owes money to a ruthless gangster and in order to pay that debt she gets turned into a sex slave. Now she goes about as a prostitute, gets into all sorts of nasty situations and eventually she will have to pay for her mistakes and find her own road to redemption. Now personally, i'm not a fan of the "born again Christian thing" but I do respect it. To each his own. I think that anything that can make you a better person, be it religion, spirituality or something else is excellent. Evolution is the key here. Becoming a better person by being more open, more forgiving, more helpful and kinder to other human beings is the most important thing. So there you have it, my rating is based on that.
