Initially I really didn't expected much from the movie... But i really liked the trailer and posters.. the colour grading of this movie... Later I gave a short ... While watching this movie i thought it was similar to the Malayalam movie Balaettan , but later felt this was different but the core concept is different but in a funny way... At the end of movie i got tears. The music/ background score is well done.. really good.. the direction was good there was no unesserasy shots.. i didn't feel any lag.. acting was good.. good casting.. the feel of the entire movie was good... The climax was heart touching . This think the audience was expecting that climax for sure.. i loved it.
The movie was just fine. Nothing more nothing less. The story was alright and the tone of the characters were a bit polished and that's what I liked the most in this film. Saiju Kurup has done a good job and I think the movie will get more popularity in the coming years due to its theme.
All the supporting actors has done a great job. The production design is another highlight of this film. While the film had some comedy moments, it wouldn't be accurate to label it purely as a comedy film.
Promotions are very less when it comes to movies like this and I assume that's due to the budget constraints. It's high time to focus on promotions when it comes to theatre runs otherwise it's going to be a failure in the box office.

Written and Directed by Krishnadas Murali, Bharatanatyam might not offer a groundbreaking storyline, but its execution makes it a standout. The core plot is inspired from Rajasenan's Swapnalokathe Balabhaskaran and felt familiar. However, it's in the storytelling and direction where Bharatanatyam excels, especially with its well-timed comedy and engaging narration.
The film's comedy works beautifully, delivering plenty of rib-tickling moments that keep you entertained throughout. Although the climax may be predictable, its emotional impact is undeniable. When a director succeeds in bringing tears to your eyes, it's clear they've done their job well, and Murali certainly achieves this.
Saiju Kurup shines as the main protagonist, portraying the role of a family man with authenticity and depth. His emotional range fits perfectly within the film's tone. Saikumar also impresses, his character's turmoil conveyed through subtle, expressive performances. Abhiram Radhakrishnan is notable as the scheming friend, while Kalaranjini, Sreeja Ravi, Divya M. Nair, and Manikandan all contribute meaningfully to the narrative. The only letdown comes from the twin characters, whose performances felt somewhat lacking in emotional nuance, preventing them from fully connecting with the audience.
On the technical front, Samuel Ebi's music complements the film but could have been more impactful. Bablu Aju's cinematography, however, stands out, seamlessly blending with the fast-paced narration to enhance the viewing experience.
Overall, Bharatanatyam is an engaging and emotionally resonant film that never drags, providing a well-rounded cinematic experience. Krishnadas Murali's direction ensures that, despite a familiar storyline, the movie remains fresh and entertaining.

Underneath the quirky comedy peppered all around Bharathanatyam (a classical dance form) lies a life lesson that is summarised by the central character Bharathan as he sits torn in the chaos of his poor life decisions. I found some novelty in how Bharathanatyam presents the conflict, mostly from the perspective of those that are affected the most. While there are lot of convenient plot points here, the film redeems itself by not siding with certain characters and puts the onus on the viewers to judge. It also shows the duality of man very effectively. There's a lot to like in Bharathanatyam than there is to dislike, making this one worth a watch.
Nice family movie with fun elements. Each characters played very well. Saiju kurup and kalaranjini acted well in this movie sai kumar dont have much dialogues still he made some remarkable expressions. The sister roles of saiju kurup are acted and nandu podhuval also played a good role in this film. The movie based on a family so the roles for other actros are limited but nicely blended. I think its a nice movie with no extra masala or songs and no vulgar comedy was not there. It makes us we are living with their family. Saiju kurup played very well his dialogue delivery was very good in this film you can see that on a shop scene with his brother telling about the son and step wife of sai kumar.
