Super Six

At first, I was like *Meh. Then I threw up and walked out

Giving Super Six a 8/10 might sound surprising, but I truly think this movie is underrated. Yes, it has its flaws, but for something made before 2012 and released in 2012, it had everything it needed to appeal to its target audience at the time.

The movie is pure fun...entertaining, funny, and enjoyable to watch. There's some cringiness, sure, but that just makes it even more memorable. And let's talk about the music, it's absolutely amazing! The songs are still as great today as they were back then. Even in 2025, I still listen to the jukebox. It's a real highlight of the movie.

The acting, though, is where the movie falls short. But it's understandable. The young actors, including Hemal in his debut role, were just starting their careers. They were new and inexperienced at the time. Fast forward to 2025, and they've all grown into some of the biggest legends in the industry. It's important to remember how young and fresh they were back then, so the acting being the weakest point feels reasonable.

With a cast full of now-famous names like Roshan, Hemal, Pubudu, Saranga, Suneth, Mahendra, Paboda, and legends like Duleeka in the elder roles, the movie definitely had star power.

It's clear the film was made with its era in mind, and for 2012, it hit the mark. If it were released today, it probably wouldn't hold up, but back then, it delivered what audiences wanted.

Super Six has its ups and downs, but it's unique, nostalgic, and full of heart. For me, it's a solid 8/10 because it's fun, memorable, and deserves way more love than it gets!

Don't waste your time for watch this movie. Very poor quality.

Acting was terrible.

I didn't watch the full move. Stopped watching after first thirty minutes.
