ATTENTION!

I thoroughly enjoyed this film for several reasons. Its simplicity stands out, as it doesn't rely on overly dramatic elements to capture the audience's attention, allowing the story to feel genuine and relatable. The plot remains grounded and realistic, making it easy to connect with the narrative without feeling overly exaggerated or far-fetched. Additionally, the individual characters are exceptionally well-crafted, each with their own distinct personalities that leave a lasting impression. The performances by the cast are outstanding, showcasing incredible talent and bringing the characters to life in a way that feels authentic and engaging. Overall, this film strikes a perfect balance between storytelling, character development, and performance, making it an absolute delight to watch.

Good Enough

Korean Drama '' Family Matters '' is a sci fi mystery drama with a complex plot with many layers.

The drama is indeed complex, with many sides to the story, many interesting characters, and enough twists to keep things fresh. It also had many action scenes that were well done. However, there should have been more information on the characters' background and, especially, on that mysterious organization that trained them.

Nevertheless, the humour was enjoyable, the family was sweet and offered a lot of entertainment, and there is room for another season.

In addition, the performances were all great by everyone in the cast, who handled their characters splendidly.

So, overall, eight out of ten.

Gripping Reality and Unraveling Truth

The twists in this thriller uncover the gap between what's told and what's seen, centering around five individuals who come together as a family, navigating the struggles of daily life but tackling them with extraordinary ability. The acting is top notch, with a gripping pace that keeps you on edge. And the cast? Let me just say, Bae Doona never misses. Every series she's been in has been a masterpiece, and this one is no exception. When a series blurs the line between what feels real and what's truly happening, it hooks you in completely. It's a high-caliber show, and I can't wait to see how the story unfolds in the upcoming episodes...

Worth Watching !!

Definitely, for me the best k-drama of my 2024 !!! I never comment here but I just want to express how I love this series. Every episodes, from start till the end, so interesting. I love this kind of drama, intriguing, hard to predict, keeps the pace, action filled and the acting is wonderful. I can feel almost every emotion.... This is a perfect thriller!! But so sad, the episode just too short for only 6 episodes only. Hope there is season 2 coming.. more on character development especially the twins. Hoping it wont take too long for second season. This series really have potential and worth watching to end 2024.

Masterpiece

The detail, music background, the technique and acting from each of the actors are outstanding. The transition and improvement from bae doona character/ yeon hee is definitely amazing, the newcomers, their kiddos also play so good.

Some scene a bit more into gore i guess but still entertaining for me, i was thinking this is gonna be like moving but a bit different, family matters has some different characteristics and unique. But both of the series is literally masterpiece. Quite rare nowadays.

Looking forward into the season 2 and there is should be season 2 soon. Please3x love this seriess.

Original family thriller but too violent

Praise must be given to the writer for this original story with some dark humor. The family bonds of caring and love are quite well brought out. A family with skills encounters some scum bags in a small town. Funny way each bad guy gets their just desserts. The little twist about how they are punished makes things feel good. The cast is also terrific at giving disinct personality to their characters. Doona Bae is droll with her dead pan. Ryu Seung Beom is hilarious in his funny look. Great character actor. So different in each role. Newcomer Lee Su Hyun has a real bad ass attitude. Park Solomon is likable but underused. . The problem is the often funny action scenes are good but cross the line into being too graphic. A bit less violent approach could still have conveyed the uniqueness of the story with less gore and blood.
