It's an interesting episode featuring interviews with police officers and friends of the couple. It contains many pictures and some recordings that show her as the aggressor in the relationship. I would've liked for the episode to feature updated information, like that her parents have been arrested and charged with knowingly accessing unauthorized evidence. The photos of the apartment when police arrived on the day of the murder are included in the episode, which helps viewers understand the volatility of the situation. It's a terrible shame that Courtney and Christian didn't just breakup and move on. The episode does a good job presenting the past and tempestuous nature of their relationship.
I just watched the second episode of this show "Lethally Blonde". My main issue was that, there weren't any blondes involved in this episode. It's the second episode and they're already deviating from their premise of "blonde". Sure the host is blonde, but that was about it as far as blondes go. It wasn't a horrible episode and the players don't have to be blonde, but sheesh, "blonde" is in the name of the show. I give this show about 8 episodes tops before it's pulled from the airwaves. There is way too much good television and streaming these days to watch shows like this. I don't recommend this show.
I'm an avid fan of true crime tv and have watched many different shows and documentaries on many different media outlets. Lethally Blonde is absolutely awful. I hesitated to watch this show, but watched to confirm my gut instinct. This show should be called, "Lethally Bleached Blonde."
The narrator, Holly Madison, is definitely not a crime analyst, expert, or journalist. As in The Playboy Murders, Ms. Madison (in fact, no one on the show) does not exhibit any sympathy and compassion for the victims of these very serious crimes. Madison and all her guests are flat and one sided. "Glamour" does not make an impact on true crime shows.
There is no real human emotion regarding the very real tragedy of murder victims and their friends and family. There are definitely much better true crime shows.
