I'm glad I didn't give up on it.
I spent several episodes being rather irritated with this show, which seemed unconvincingly quirky and a failed attempt at a surrealistic vibe; it wasn't until later in the season that I realised why all of that was the way it was.
I'm glad I didn't stop watching, because it all became a lot more intriguing towards the end.
There are some very currently-relevant social observations, and a plethora of characters who are challenging, to say the least: it would be easy to dislike a lot of them.
At the conclusion I'm not entirely sure where and who everyone is, but I shall be intrigued to continue with the story if a second season is commissioned.
I can understand this show getting lower ratings from anyone who bailed out early, but I would encourage others to stick with this to the end.
