God what a waste of time

It's obviously a low-budget effort with some overacting and, at times, annoyingly intrusive background music, but it's a lot of fun too and the lead actress (Alexandria Romanov) holds the centre well. If some lines seem a little heavy handed, others can be quite delightful. The addition of three songs is whimsical but works well.

The ending feels rushed. The tone at the beginning of the film was serious, part thriller and part drama, and the first killing is believed to be a suicide and there's a lot of dealing with that, and dealing with loss and guilt. As the killings pile up, there's a farcical element that gradually takes over, and that mismatch between beginning and ending doesn't quite work.
