Ronggeng Kematian Dance of Death. Right away I did not watch the trailer because it is unexpectedly and deliciously good. There is part of supernatural, part whodunnit thriller, with a great plot build-up. A little bit campy but werid, it also delivers some exciting thrills. Less jumpscares, they have it maybe one or two but those are pretty annoying. But you'd still get heebie-jeebies with the disturbing imagery and spooky atmosphere, and that's what Solaiman bring to the table, a pure brainy horror entertainment. This is actually a slow burn but once it progresses then it gets really interesting horror film with good concept and good premise, and like I said, the story plot goes along with thrills and surprises, which is nearly hit the perfect button if there wasn't a little bit of cheesiness clicheness to the story, also few plot holes. I kinda feel this is going to be an underrated Indonessian horror film of this year and deserves more recognitions.
