This may be my favorite sapphic movie yet! The two main characters Sam and Bailey have really great chemistry that keeps you captivated from the beginning to the end. Alexandra did an amazing job writing a sapphic story that actually feels believable. I saw a lot of my experiences as well as my friends' experiences throughout the movie, all the way down to the small conversations happening in the background. The story line flows really nicely and the relationship happens in such a natural way that you don't always see in movies. All in all, an excellent movie that I will be watching again and sharing with my friends.
I've seen so many sapphic movies and Alexandra Swaren's are the only ones that feel believable to me. The trope of women who are friends and kind of wait for their window of opportunity is so real, and the script was so genuine and heart felt. No cheating or going back to boyfriends, and no one died lol. Sad that's the baseline now for a queer movie.
Alexandra busts all of that open and brings us real chemistry between two characters that feel believable. I've watched this over and over already - it's like a warm hug on a cold day :)
I also really liked that it was based in Ashland - i've never seen a movie set there (that I know of). The pumpkin carving scene was super creative and unique. Alexandra does alot on a small budget and it shows.

I loved When Harry Met Sally growing up and now I have a queer version. This is instantly one of my favorite films. It makes me so happy. Especially as someone who hates holidays, but am cool with others loving them, and they are so cute.
I bought the film on tellofilms to support a queer platform :) I'm so glad I came across it! It's so well made too, definitely has rewatchability value. I immediately told my friends about it and added it to my movie recommendation spreadsheet.
Kudos to Alexandra and all involved. This is such a beautiful sapphic love story and so so relatable! I hate the holidays (but will watch this film over and over and enjoy every minute!) I sense a new holiday tradition. Maybe i'll start my own Holiday Club!
