Based on a yuri manga written and illustrated by Eku Takeshima. It was first serialized in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime April 2019 issue.
Xinya Cai was originally set to direct but was replaced Akira Mano and Cloud Hearts was set to be the sole animation studio with Yokohama Animation Lab supervising, before it joined as a co-producer.
Originally scheduled for a January 2024 release but production issues pushed it to April 2024.
The Bluray releases scheduled for 2025 was canceled.
