Exclusive: Homejacking, the French series created by Lupin writers Tigran Rosine and Florent Meyer in collaboration with Emmanuelle Faguer, has sold to Italian broadcast giant Rai. Beta Film is distributing and sealed the deal for the drama, which played in the French Competition at Series Mania last year.
Heading into this year’s Series Mania, Rai has picked up several titles from Beta. The Italian public broadcaster Rai has snagged a pair of YA series, Prisma and Rumors and various crime dramas as well as Homejacking.
A six-part series for Ocs in France, Homejacking follows events that ensue after an intruder wearing a pink balaclava breaks into the high-end home of a wealthy couple and holds them hostage.
