Watched at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.
I tend to not review short films as much but this short from Erin Brown Thomas is an interesting take on the youth comedy with fun performances and tone. Shot using a long one-take sequence without cuts, it's pretty impressive on the production levels and direction. Navigating through the journey of a girl going through the moments to chase her crush, while meeting with various characters and silly and dramatic moments makes it an interesting watch.
I love the concept of this short and really enjoyed some of the dark themes it explores within a short span. Especially with how Thomas approaches on how young people act and the modern generation without feeling forced and out of place. I believe Erin Brown Thomas has the chance on becoming big someday with television series or comedic movies and I do wish Thomas for the best for her career.

Saw this at Slamdance last week and am still thinking about it. The story is engaging, the writing and acting so easygoing that you kind of forget you're watching a film and just get lost in the experience. A little too relatable, but also potentially important.
I found a lot of things impressive about this film/pilot, but the biggest is how it got into my head and made me feel the just-out-of-reach potential that makes you question everything when chasing a dream. If you've ever wondered if you've waited too long, worked too hard, or sacrificed too much for a difficult dream - so has everyone in Chasers.
Highly recommend.
