Initially I had believed that the 2023 movie "By Any Means" was a movie from Maverick Entertainment, given the movie's cover. But thankfully that was not the case. Sure, I had never heard about the movie prior to watching it, so I didn't know what I was in for. But I can say that my expectations were slim.
The storyline in the movie, while it wasn't a poorly written one, then I have to say that it was not one that provided me with much entertainment. There was nothing overly interesting happening throughout the course of the movie, and it was like watching a glorified soap opera drama from daytime TV. Not really my kind of entertainment.
The dialogue in the movie was rather stereotypical and oftentimes rather cringeworthy to listen to.
Needless to say that I wasn't familiar with a single actress or actor on the cast list. The acting performances in the movie were good, if you can get past the often cringeworthy dialogue.
The production level in the movie was quite good.
The music in the movie was horrible. But then again, I never did enjoy rap and hip hop.
My rating of writer and director India Charde's 2023 movie "By Any Means" lands on a generous four out of ten stars.
