Gina Gershon was born on June 10, 1962 (Gina Gershon: Age 60) in Los Angeles, California to Mickey and Stan Gershon. She has an older brother and sister. She started acting when she was 14 years old.

Gershon graduated from Beverly Hills High School in 1980. In 1983 she graduated from New York University with a bachelor’s in drama and psychology. She also went to the Circle in the Square Professional Theater School in New York, studying with David Mamet, Harold Guskin and Sandra Seacat.

We have some sad news to share today, as Hollywood has lost one of its most legendary icons: Raquel Welch has passed away at the age of 82. Deadline reports that Welch’s passing was confirmed by her reps at Media 4 Management, who simply said that she had died after a brief illness.

Welch was born Jo Raquel Tejada on September 5, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois, but her family moved to San Diego, California when little Raquel was just two years old. She knew as a youngster that she wanted to get into the entertainment industry, and studied ballet for several years while entertaining – and winning – beauty contests. She attended San Diego State College on a theater arts scholarship, but despite doing some stage acting and landing a job as a weather presenter on the local news, it took a while for her to break through into films. Director Sara Sugarman is set to replace Jonas Åkerlund on “Midas Man,” the biopic of The Beatles’ manager Brian Epstein, Variety understands.

“Midas Man” tells the story of Brian Epstein, the man who is considered responsible for launching The Beatles into the stratosphere. He also managed other hit musical acts from the 1960s including Gerry and the Pacemakers and Cilla Black before tragically succumbing to an overdose at the age of 32.

During his lifetime Epstein was also forced to hide the fact that he was gay due to societal attitudes towards at the time.

Gina Gershon has been cast as Gladys Jones, Jughead’s (Cole Sprouse) mother, while Trinity Likins will play Jellybean “Jb” Jones, Jughead’s sister.

Gladys is described as a businesswoman and a biker who runs a salvage yard that doubles as a Southside Serpent compound. A fellow Serpent — but an educated one, with a Ged — she is able to command the attention of the others in the gang and acts as a “Fagin” to a crew of teenaged car parts thieves.

Jellybean is described as being “wise beyond her years” and is following in her mother’s footsteps as a con artist.

The two characters have been living in Toledo, Ohio, where they “run scams” to make ends meet, but they will turn up in the town of Riverdale in the Dec.

Well, here we are girls and boys. It’s almost the end of January and if you’re still trying to shake off the stress of the Horrorday season, I’ve got the cure. Or at least some suggestions that will help kick start your 2015. First up are the couture creations of Madrid designer, Maya Hansen. Hansen has been making corsets and corset dresses since 2006. Hansen’s 2010 “Heavy Metal” themed collection was inspired from artwork used by bands like Kiss, Iron Maiden and the Misfits, so I thought I’d share some of her eye-popping designs. When we last saw Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Joan Watson (Lucy Liu) in Elementary's season 2 finale, they were heading their separate ways: Holmes to London to work for MI6, Watson toward a new life in New York without the partner she described as having a pull "like gravity" on her. Creator/executive producer Rob Doherty promises a reunion on tonight's season premiere, which takes place eight months after Holmes' departure. Fans of the prickly detective won't be shocked to learn that "things did not exactly work out with MI6. Holmes a certain compulsion to come back to New York.

The first round of 2014 Emmy Awards were handed out at the Creative Arts Emmys ceremony on Saturday (August 16) night at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The ceremony, which precedes the Monday, August 25 Primetime Emmy Awards telecast, offered signs of hope for a number of drama and comedy hopefuls. Netflix's "Orange Is The New Black," for example, won Emmys for editing, series casting and for Uzo Aduba, who is considered a guest actress for the purposes of these awards. At about the time that she claims that Armani makes dresses for wives and Versace makes them for mistresses, you might realize how much you've missed Gina Gershon (bear in mind, this is within the first 5 minutes). So few actors can find that sweet spot between self-parody and melodrama that it's almost shocking to find someone who can land lines like "if you want to put me on a leash, it better be diamond-studded" with Shakespearean conviction the way Gershon can. Paired here with Raquel Welch and mountains of cocaine, she proves in House of Versace that she's nothing less than the modern Mae West.

Gina Gershon will play iconic fashion designer Donatella Versace in new Lifetime TV movie "House of Versace," according to The Hollywood Reporter. The telepic also stars Enrico Colantoni as Donatella's late brother Gianni Versace, Colm Feore as their older brother Santo, and Raquel Welch as their Aunt Lucia.

The original TV movie is scripted by Rama Stagner and directed by Sara Sugarman, and is based on the book "House of Versace: The Untold Story of Genius, Murder, and Survival" by Deborah Ball. It focuses on Donatella Versace as she struggles under the scrutiny of being head designer at her brother's company following his death.
