This is the first of Marvel One-shots that I had watched. It just felt like a pilot for Agent Carter. Hayley Atwell was amazing again. She is the Peggy Carter we deserve.
I just missed Jarvis... I know he appear in the show, but Peggy and Jarvis are a inseparable team for me now. Howard Stark is always hilarious and he isn't different in this one. Dumb Dumb Dugan was a surprise.
Seriously, Netflix need to pick up Agent Carter for a third season. We need a more of these characters. Bring back these amazing characters to small screen. Just do it Marvel!!!!!!

I highly recommend these MARVEL ONE SHOTS. Agent Carter getting her long overdo credit is the sweetest kind of revenge. Good performances. Just the right amount of action. It was a nice touch as to her choice of picture in her desk. I give this short film a 7 (good) out of 10. {Marvel Universe Action mini-Adventure}

This is a great one shot that Marvel made with a beloved character. The writing is solid for the 10ish minutes that it is and the action is spectacular too.
Atwell portrays Carter with such confidence that it is hard to deny she is a capable agent. It is nice to see Stark too, keeping up with continuity that he was one of the founders of Shield.
In light of continuity, it is hard to gauge when this one shot takes place or if it is even canon after all. It could take place after season 2 of Agent Carter but it is hard to tell.
+ Atwell + Writing and action + Stark and Shield - Hard to tell where in the timeline this exists, or if it even does
Final Score: 8.8/10

I watched all of the Marvel One-Shot short films in one go (it only took about 25-30 minutes for all of them). They are all enjoyable in their own way but this one about Agent Carter is definitely my favourite one.
I really liked the plot of this short movie and Hayley Atwell delivered a very strong performance. It was only about 10 minutes long but it had everything. The action was very fast paced with some really cool fighting scenes.
When I was watching it it seemed like I was watching a proper movie, it was that well made. I definitely think the potential is there to make a full feature length movie about Agent Carter. Would highly recommend this (as well as the other short Marvel films).
8/10.

Last year I was really pleased with Item 47. It was funny, smart, had a nice dialog and likable characters. I hoped Agent Carter would be at least that good.
Well, it was actually much, MUCH better. While Item 47 was generally enjoyable, Agent Carter is really touching. It brings some serious questions without loosing its lighter tone.
Hayley Atwell is phenomenal as Peggy Carter. Atwell just has it all - the emotional depth, the attractive looks, the cool moves - the whole package. She's playing the character with so much love, it's an absolute pleasure to watch her. Peggy is forced to live in a world of injustice and double standards. Her struggle to keep it together is wonderfully done here.
This short film feels like a mini-episode of Alias and that's one of the biggest compliments I could ever say about anything.
My only complain about it is that it's not a full-length feature film. Marvel fans deserve a female-lead full-length feature film. Peggy deserves her own full-length feature film. Atwell deserves full-length feature film. Please, Marvel, make it happen soon.

After viewing every Marvel One Shot movie this one I have to say that Marvel One Shot: Agent Carter is my favorite one.
It features Hayley Atwell reprising her role as Peggy Carter in her first solo film. This is a short movie that comes with the Blu ray edition of Iron Man 3.
The plot for this film is simple but works of Peggy as we see her grow as far as a character goes
Now the writing for this one is very good and so fun one-liners.
The music in the film is really well done it gives you that feel of danger, decision, and surprise for a short film.
The acting very well done with the best performance going to Hayley who is just right for the role of Agent Carter she just knows how to make the character
The plot for this short film is smart, clever and goes to show the best man for the job is a woman and there is turns of unexpected you don't see coming.
The film just knows how to hold your attention which is why I suggest giving this one a try
I give Marvel One Shot: Agent Carter an 10 out of 10

Great One-shot. It gives us a good tease of what's to come. I really like how they show Peggy and how gritty she can be. And how she is under estimated. As always Hayley Atwell does a great job with the role of Peggy Carter and she could have easily held a full length solo film about her character. The One-shot is fun and yet tells an interesting story in fifteen minutes. Well put together.
Unfortunately this One-shot doesn't quite fit into the Peggy Carter series. I wish they would have kept the more serious tone that they created here, instead they put a much lighter spin on it. And the way the one-shot ends doesn't flow with the series.

Agent Carter is by far the best One-Shot. Amazing action and even a nice reveal thats important for the whole story of the MCU. It doesn't really make sense with the TV Show though but yea still active One-Shot.

The One-Shot is enjoyable to watch and can be a decent summary of Agent Carter's time after the events of Captain America. If you don't have time for the Agent Carter series but want to get a little taste of what happens in between, this is an easy way to do it. The One-Shot itself feels like a short comic, very linear and direct from each plot point to the next, which is perfect for a short story like this. The ending of the one-shot was the only part that I had small issues with. Without spoilers, it causes confusion going from the end of the one-shot directly to episode one of the Agent Carter series. I still recommend it being on the list of any MCU watch list.

This is one of the longest of the Marvel One-Shots and it uses this time to really introduce the character of Peggy Carter beyond the little we saw in Captain America: The First Avenger. The post-war workplace setting is unfortunately so dismissive of Carter, which gives her a good chance to prove herself. During the mission against "Zodiac" (unfortunately not explicated in anything but superficial terms), she holds her own and achieves some impressive acrobatic action sequences to show us what she is capable of. By pitting her against so many enemies - co-workers, bad guys and circumstances - we see Agent Carter at her best.

After a lackluster pair of One-Shots in Phase One, the MCU delivers an upgrade to the shorts with Agent Carter. Annoyed and disrespected in the workforce following the events of Captain America: The First Avenger, Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) sits behind a desk, watching as other agents fail to make a difference. Being notified of a major assignment, she decides to take matters into her own hands once again. While her adventure is fun, it's yet again quite an inconsequential side story, with only the ending adding anything to the larger MCU. Although it did act as a backdoor pilot to the Agent Carter television show, it is mostly forgotten and written off as quick and fun action.
I haven't gotten round to watching the Agent Carter television series yet and truth be told have rather low expectations for it. This Marvel One-Shot has done nothing to change this.
While the male agents leave her behind to wrap things up Agent Peggy Carter gets a call about a case and decides to break protocol to go it alone.
Featuring the always excellent Bradley Whitford as her less than bareable boss and Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark this is a distinctly average short and a bit of a weak link in Marvels almost flawless chain.
Atwell is uninspired, the plot is generic and though it solidly feels like an addition to the incredible marvel universe it brings nothing note worthy to it.
The Good:
Bradley Whitford
Continuity
The Bad:
Instantly forgettable stuff
Things I Learnt From This Short:
I'm really not going to like Agent Carter am I?

As the direct follow up of Captain America: The First Avenger, Agent Carter was the inspiration for the short-lived ABC series.
15 minutes is too short to contain the awesomeness of Hayley Atwell's Peggy Carter. She's an idol against toxic masculinity and one of the greatest Marvel characters in her own right.

Fed up of being treated like a second class citizen, and marginalised Agent Carter takes up an important mission single handedly, without informing her so called superiors.
You have to utterly love Hayley Atwell, she impressed hugely in Captain America, and slipped effortlessly back into the part. She's phenomenal, she's tough, honest and beautiful.
For a short, this really does pack a punch, very fast paced and action packed. A lot is crammed in.
I wish it had been longer, that's my only gripe, 9/10.

After the events of Captain America 1, Peggy Carter works code breaking and data analysis, but due to her boss, is not allowed to go on field missions.
Hayley Atwell in the role proved so popular that they had to come up with ways of bringing her back. This is the first and least awkward. The action is great, combining tension and humor. Cinematography and editing are excellent. This runs 12 minutes, or 15 and a half with end credits.
This is currently available on Disney Plus. I recommend it to fans of the franchise. 8/10.

Agent Peggy Carter absolutely serves in this MARVEL ONE SHOT, that introduces the two season series, Agent Carter.
A year after her beau Steve Roger's sacrifice, she is stuck in an office surrounded by suits that see her as less than. She gets passed by when it comes to field work and her coworkers treat her like an office accessory. Until one lucky night, Peggy gets the chance to go off on a mission of her own and succeeds. PERIOD. This leads to an embarrassing phone call for her supervisor and it's delicious to see.
This ONE SHOT provides the viewer with a taste of what they are going to see in the Agent Carter series, which is Peggy Carter working together with Howard Stark in running S. H. I. E. L. D. We can only hope that they will take our girl seriously. She deserves all the credit for her success.

This short had potential - Agent Carter was actually the only likable character in the first Captain America. Unfortunately, Marvel can't stop relying on cliché after cliché. Everything is so predictable. Without the big action scenes that carry most Marvel films, this one falls flat.
There's barely any action here, and while the short runtime is a mercy, it's still painful to sit through. The ending is exactly what you'd expect.
The only saving grace? Hayley Atwell. She's a strong actress, and the character of Peggy Carter is interesting enough to keep this from being a total disaster.
Not funny. Not worth watching.
Final Score: 4/10.

Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter
Agent Carter is a gift to the world. This One Shot basically is a short pilot for the two delightful seasons of Agent Carter's own show detailing her life after Captain America plunges into the arctic. Somehow she went from spy master, field operative during the war to being treated like crap for being a woman in a man's world. She completes a mission that came about while "the boys" were out drinking and nearly gets disciplined for it. It's ridiculous. Howard Stark has to step in and save the day, even though Carter's abilities earn her a place in leadership. It's misogynistic even when it's working in her favor. But still, it's nice to see her rub the men's noses in their horribleness.
