Aight, so the entire point of this show is that a princess gets "tortured" some of life's pleasures, such as good food, amusement parks, and the Power of Friendship-and it works alarmingly well.
This one is a bit weird and formulaic to the point that you could crush this series in one sitting and call it good in terms of re-watching it. But it's not actually bad really. The characters have a bit of interesting depth to them and comedy hit on most parts where intended. The story line should be dull after a couple of episodes, but it's actually engaging sometimes and there is absolutely gorgeous backdrops in the show. Further, the series changes things up a bit here and there so the premise doesn't get worn out too quickly.
There are a few issues with the series in the premise gets recycled after a while and it seems there isn't much to engage the viewer if you aren't hooked in the few episode. This is one where you need to be invested to about episode 4 to get some variety. The animation is a bit weird in spots too in terms of character anatomy (sometimes the princess's ankles are a bit odd?).
All in all, it's not great, but it not bad either. Not by a long shot. I don't think it does the series justice to call it a "one-and-done", but there isn't much meat to revisit when/if you watch it. That said, there are far worse shows out there and I did enjoy this one.
