This Fan Film ROCKS! It's the most Original one I've Seen! A quick search on the internet of Halloween Fan Films will result in hundreds of films for the past two decades if not more. Most of these films, while I'm sure were made with love and fun, are not very good. Some are REALLY well made for being out of the system with low budgets and some are even preferred by many, including me, to that of many of the franchise films, studio take NOTE! Even fewer still are original takes on the franchise, this one, MASK OF EVIL, has taken the originality cake. A couple fan films continue the story of the franchise or even replace it forging their own path but still don't offer anything surprising, not so with this film! Myers, The Shape, is on the hunt for his ORIGINAL MASK, the Clown Mask! I never would have thought of that as apparently nobody else has either, except for this filmmaker! Not only is it original but it's really well made for being low budget, the production value is actually quite good and Myers looks great! Another problem with many fan films is the mask looks terrible or right off the store shelf. The story works, I like the unique setting, (Myers in the desert, who woulda thought), and the acting is good enough to great, not distracting like most fan films. THIS FAN FILM IS WORTH YOUR TIME! Oh and there's a fun cameo at the end!
