James Wan’s Atomic Monster production company has acquired the rights to develop Game Award-nominated indie title “Pacific Drive” into a TV series.
Created by Cassandra Dracott from Ironwood Studios, “Pacific Drive” is a retropunk-style driving and survival game set to an experimental electronic music soundtrack that challenges players to escape a surreal and abandoned exclusion zone with their car as their only companion in the dark and chilling world.
Debuting back in February, “Pacific Drive” was nominated for Best Debut Indie Game at the 2024 Game Awards Dec. 12 and won Best Gameplay at the 2024 Big Festival, where it was also nominated for Best Game. In June, the game was added to the suggested reading list for the Nebula Awards by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association.
Wan and Atomic Monster’s Michael Clear and Rob Hackett will executive produce the TV series adaptation of the project along with Jeff Ludwig of The Menagerie Productions.

Kraven The Hunter Worldwide Box Office: Debut Weekend Update(Photo Credit – YouTube)
Kraven the Hunter had an utterly disappointing debut at the box office in North America and overseas. It has witnessed an even worse opening than Madame Web. Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s rugged looks and smooth actions did not help much to increase the film’s sales in its opening weekend. The movie was mounted on a production budget of $100 million. Scroll below for the deets.
The film was expected to earn between $13-$16 million in the United States, but it failed to even land in the projected range. For the uninitiated, this is the sixth film in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, also known as the Ssu. The movie also features Russell Crowe in a crucial role.
According to Luiz Fernando’s report, Kraven the Hunter collected below the industry’s projections, scoring the lowest debut for a major comic...

When Nate Bargatze returned to host Saturday Night Live earlier this month, it had been less than one calendar year since his previous headlining gig in October 2023. That’s a pretty speedy reappearance! But it doesn’t even crack the top 20 in terms of quickest returns to 30 Rock between hosting gigs.
Who got back even quicker? Here are the five SNL hosts who returned the fastest…
5 Tie: Buck Henry and Steve Martin: 126 Days
Maybe the hosting talent pool wasn’t as deep in the early days of Saturday Night Live, or maybe Lorne Michaels knew to ride a funny horse once he found one. Take Buck Henry, for instance. He hosted SNL’s 10th episode ever in January 1976, then returned in May of the same year to host the 21st as well. “Buck Henry so totally got it,” Michaels has explained. “When he got there, he said, ‘Do...
