It's the fourth film of the semi-autobiographical series of the director Ricardo Trogi. The first one was 1981 (release in 2009), the second was 1987 (release in 2014) and the third was 1991 (release in 2018).

Goofs
The movie starts in 1994. Ricardo just bought his first new car. But It's actually a 1996 Honda Civic that wasn't available before the end of 1995.

An ethnocentric movie critizing ethnocentism

I don't know anything about the backgroung of the movie. I wonder whether its script depends on an autobiographical story or not.

I liked the movie and its way of telling the story. On the other hand, the movie seems to be seen at the current time although its title is 1995. The custom and the scenes are a bit weak to display 90s mood. I also found a goof which I mentioned in the related section.

I will not give a spoiler but the main character makes an analyse towards the end of the movie. I mean that the main character criticizes being ethnocentrism. In fact, the whole movie was shot with a very ethnocentric comprehension. Cliche Arab world motives have been used as main gags of the movie. I found this way a bit amateur.

It could be interpreted better.
