I gave this program a shot during the winter storm in the Pacific Northwest.
Not sure who likes this kind of comedy. I'm not some redneck trucker from the south and that's basically who he's playing to. The shrieks from the ladies must be because they are drunk at the show or it's fake laughing. Maybe it was a laugh track.
How many times does he have to say we're having a good time here? I wasn't. Turned this off after half a hour of nothing.
Lets see, he told jokes about smoking, chewing tobacco, tucking his shirt in, working at restaurants or as a salesman. Yeah, funny?
Thanks for wasting my time Netflix. Skip this one. 1/10.

His special was really funny - girlfriend and I were cracking up throughout. Dusty's style is unique and in the most endearing, refreshing way. The writing is really well done and relatable. Really fun delivery to accentuate the material that draws you right in.
Also, the person that wrote the review that you had to be from the South or something to enjoy his material is just a hater and clearly not having a good time. Gf and I both grew up quite differently from Dusty but still relate and love his work - including this special.
Fire up the special, sit back and enjoy the next hour. Pick up a few Dustyisms and understand why we're having a good time.

Dusty is truly a breath of fresh air. There are a lot of "comics" out there, but he is the real deal with well crafted jokes and great stories from his life...you get the feeling that what you see on stage is who he really is, and that is rare. Dusty seems to have great timing too, so the jokes really flow well with the audience. He even handles a good hearted heckler making you laugh out loud with his comeback. Did I mention he is CLEAN? Netflix hit it out of the park with this special-so get ready to kick back, relax and enjoy a hilarious 1:10 minutes. PS Watch through the credits for a special bonus.
There's something about Dusty's kind of dry (and maybe a little bit awkward) delivery that gets me. I think the word is deadpan? Whatever it is, it's good.
He's the rare kind of comedian who can get laughs without being crass, talking politics, or using exaggerated physical humor. That's not to say that those things are bad; plenty of my favorite comedians use those tactics but it's refreshing that Dusty doesn't, and he doesn't have to.
He's able to tell stories with a funny punchline without getting playing on people's hot-topic emotions. And while his comedy is clean, it's far from simple. He's got his own kind of flow, the timing is smart, and the way he arranges everything is intelligent.
In short, I definitely had a good time.

This guy is hilarious 🤣. Make sure u watch if u need a good laugh.
Well...that was my review. But apparently it's too short?! I'm sorry what? Oooooooook. So what else is there to say?
It's a standup comedy. I'm watching this with my wife. We are not Siskel and Ebert doing a review. We are just laughing constantly so I thought I would share. Just wanted to leave a quick note other than just a star rating.
If you are going to make limits on the length of a review, at least separate the length required by category. A standup comedy should not require anything. If you were to not want to write a review, and just leave a star with no comment, can you?
The whole length requirement is absurd, but even moreso for a stand-up comedy.
Like I said if you want to laugh watch this guy...
