There is an episode based on the movie Cluedo (1985).

In the episode where Chet is in Tokyo, a robot and a dinosaur toy do battle. The robot proceeds to pick up a boat toy and attack with it. This is reminiscent of the battle scene in Pacific Rim (2013).

Ryan Reynolds and the entire cast of the original film were never asked to reprise their roles.

The characters Tod and Ted were based on Jay and Silent Bob from the movie Clerks : Les Employés modèles (1994).
