The actors took lessons from a mime on how to perform exaggerated expressions so their emotions could be visible through the Sasquatch costumes and make up.

The song played at the end of the movie "The Creatures of Nature," is sung by Riley Keough, who plays the female in the movie. The soundtrack includes an alternate version of the song, featuring the female's grunts.
