Ahead of an April 6 broadcast and subsequent simulcast on Crunchyroll , the official accounts for To Be Hero X today released a "character story video" for third-ranked hero Dragon Boy. Mufasa hit theaters right before Christmas and has dominated the box office. Argentina’s Natalia Smirnoff and Alberto Lecchi and Money Heist’s Alejandro Bazzano are among the directors with projects selected for Iberseries & Platino Industria’s Co-production and Financing Forum, which is takeing place in Madrid from October 1-4.

The fourth edition of Iberseries & Platino Industria, an industry meeting point for the Spanish and Latin American cinema and TV sectors, will host more than 2,000 professionals from 50 countries this year.

The Coproduction and Financing Forum features 10 film and 11 TV series projects.

They include veteran Argentinian filmmaker Alberto Lecchi’s A Distant Place, with an attached cast that includes Ernesto Alterio and Soledad Villamil.

Spanish public broadcaster Rtve held its fifth annual Rtve Showcase late last week in Madrid. Eight of the network’s top shows were profiled for international buyers, and several panels debated the current state of affairs in Spain’s TV production industry.

Professionals from around the world tuned into this year’s Showcase, which had the overriding theme of international co-production. Guest speakers from across Europe attended and shared details about their recent experiences working with Rtve and what future collaborations are in the works.

According to Rodolfo Domínguez, Rtve commercial director, more than 200 attendees tuned in to this year’s Showcase, including 70 international buyers from more than 30 territories. Of them, 50% were from Europe, 30% from the Americas, and the other 20% from Asia and the Middle East.
