Fawad Khan is set to make a highly anticipated Bollywood comeback after an 8-year hiatus, starring alongside Vaani Kapoor in a Hindi romantic comedy film directed by Aarti Bagdi. The film, which will be shot entirely in the UK, explores the journey of two broken individuals who find solace and love in each other, aiding each other’s healing process. Actress Parineeti Chopra on Monday shared holiday album with her husband and Aam Aadmi Party (Aap) leader Raghav Chadha, who were on their Christmas and New Year vacation to the UK, and said it was “cozy, warm and full of fuzzies”.

The lovebirds celebrated their first New Year together as newly-weds in London, and Austria.

Taking to Instagram, the ‘Ishqzaade’ actress, who enjoys a fanbase of 44.2 million followers, shared a string of photos, wherein we can see Parineeti holding on to Raghav adorbaly.

She was wearing a white and black striped sweater, brown short skirt, and beige coloured coat. With no makeup on, Parineeti completed the look with black winter cap, matching boots and cross body bag.

The couple seems to be sitting in a fine dining restaurant.

Popular Bollywood actor Parineeti Chopra has two projects based on real-life stories in the works.

“Chamkila” is a biopic on Punjabi singer-songwriter pop star duo Amar Singh Chamkila and Amarjot Kaur, who shot to fame in the 1980s recording and performing songs that were social commentaries or devotionals, and which became massive hits. The duo was gunned down in Mehsampur village, Punjab, in 1988. Their assassination remains an unsolved mystery and was the subject of Kabir Singh Chowdhry’s 2018 mockumentary “Mehsampur.”

“Chamkila,” produced by Reliance Entertainment, is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Imtiaz Ali, known for “Jab We Met” (2007), “Love Aaj Kal” (2009), “Rockstar” (2011) and “Highway” (2014). Pop star and actor Diljit Dosjanh (Netflix original film “Jogi”) plays Chamkila while Chopra plays Kaur.

“Diljit and I are going to be singing throughout the film. We’re doing like 12-15 songs because it’s a film on music. We’re doing live recordings on set.

Music composer duo Sachin-Jigar, who worked in late actor Sushant Singh Rajput-starrer ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, said that it was a fulfilling experience working with Yash Raj Films on the romantic comedy with a vast genre of songs.

‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ has completed nine years of its release in Hindi cinema. The film received rave reviews and the cast of Sushant, Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor were appreciated for their roles.

Music composer duo Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya, popularly known as Sachin-Jigar gave music for the film and they recall being part of the film.

Sachin said: “It was a very fulfilling and overwhelming experience working with Yash Raj Films on this romantic comedy where there is such a vast genre of songs. It was an incredible experience examining the music while taking into account the essence of the land, especially since a significant portion of the plot was filmed in Rajasthan.

Yrf Entertainment is leading Indian studio Yash Raj Films’ streaming business, which was set up in 2021 with an initial investment of $67.1 million. As revealed by Variety, Yrf Entertainment launched in Dec. 2021 with Bhopal gas tragedy series “The Railway Men,” created by Shiv Rawail.

Like Rawail, Sahni has had a long association with the studio. Besides “Chak De! Mumbai, March 23 (Ians) In 2011, when Parineeti Chopra made her debut with the film Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl, and followed it up with films like Ishaqzaade and Shuddh Desi Romance, few would have imagined the cute, bubbly girl in an intense role as Mira Kapoor in The Girl On The Train, or that she would one day transform into ace shuttler Saina Nehwal in the biopic Saina.

If she has managed to prove her versatility, Parineeti says she seems to have rediscovered herself.

"I feel more liberated now, I feel like I found myself again and I feel great to be myself. You see I introduced to the world through the films and the kind of characters I played in those films. Most of them were the bubbly, happy-go-lucky Punjabi girl who is a drama queen too! Those characters were entertaining and people loved me in those avatars.

Mumbai, Feb 27 (Ians) The Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pedenkar-starrer Dum Laga Ke Haisha released in 2015 on this day. The films's director Sharat Katariya says the talent of the lead pair and their ability get into the skin of their characters made them so endearing in the storyline.

Sushant Singh Rajput, a Bollywood actor who jumped from TV to the big screen and starred in the Netflix action film “Drive,” died Sunday at age 34.

Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai home; local media report that according to police, his cause of death was an apparent suicide by hanging.

Born in 1986, Rajput began his acting career on television in the 2008 drama “Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil” (“In Which Country Does My Heart Live”). Copying each other's outfits seems to have become a new trend in Bollywood, and the latest person to do so is Shamitabh fame Akshara Haasan.

While we spotted Vaani Kapoor (of Shuddh Desi Romance fame) in a pretty dress at an awards function last year, Akshara now seems to copy Vaani's style while she launched a car brand in Chennai.

This weekend’s Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa opened on a serious note and it proved to be a turning point for the existing contestants of the show. Saturday’s show opened with rehearsal footage of existing contestants. All the contestants were called on stage and the two unsafe contestants who would be in the face-off this week, would be announced.

Sreesanth and Puja were the two unsafe contestants. Puja was disappointed to be in the face-off once again.

For the first time, the face-off happened at the beginning of the show. Puja and Rajat were the first to perform. Their chosen dance style was Freestyle, and they performed to the song ‘Teri Meri Prem Kahani’ from Bodyguard. Their prop was a picture frame. All the acts would be featuring a prop this week as this was the theme. As always, Puja’s scores were saved and would be revealed after Sreesanth performed.

It seems the Chopra sisters are destined to collide. Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania is the latest romantic comedy from Dharma Productions starring Student of the Year alumni Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan. The soundtrack is composed by Sachin-Jigar (Shuddh Desi Romance) and Sharib-Toshi (Raaz: The Mystery Continues) with lyrics penned by Kumaar. It features the vocal talents of Anushka Manchanda, Shreya Ghoshal, Shalmali Kholgode (Lat Lag Gayi – Race 2), Vishal Dadlani and Arijit Singh amongst others.

The album kick starts with Saturday Saturday, which is a revision of The Titans, Indeep Bakshi and Badshah’s 2012 release by the Sabri brothers. The early promos of the track have hit the air waves, or rather the digital waves, and it has been steadily climbing the charts as the new party anthem. Other than pressing the right party-track buttons, that is, references to girls, drinking, clubs etc, the track has nothing to offer that has not been already offered by its predecessors.

The 15th Tata Motors Iifa Awards surpassed expectations with a spectacular show that saw the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag nab the top awards of the night, including Best Picture, Best Direction, Performance in Leading Role (Male) Farhan Akhtar, Performance in a Supporting Role (Female) Divya Dutta and Best Story Prasoon Joshi. True to the adage that 'Uncertainty is the middle name of Bollywood', the name of the leading heroine of the Yrf film Fan (starring Shahrukh Khan) seems to be still uncertain. But, if the buzz is to be believed, then, the uncertainty will be a thing of the past soon, as the leading lady will apparently be none other than the Shuddh Desi Romance heroine Vaani Kapoor.

Readers may recall that the names of the leading heroines opposite Srk for this film ranged from the likes of Parineeti Chopra to Deepika Padukone to Anushka Sharma. However, inside sources confirm that director Maneesh Sharma and producer Aditya Chopra have locked on Vaani as the leading lady for Fan.
