Is it Christmas or not?

The show was actually funny. It wasn't top-level, but for the relatively low budget production it was pretty well done. The actors were good, though inexperience did sometimes show through, however, this could be helped with a bit crisper editing in spots. I don't hold this against the show, it's just worthy of notice, I believe.

The issue I have with this show is the painful efforts to be PC; after a while it brings attention to itself. What I mean by that is, for example, the strained efforts to avoid using the word Christmas. You can only say "Holiday" in place of Christmas so many times before it gets painful. If you're gonna make a program centered around the Christmas holiday, at some point you should acknowledge it.

Most of the characters were pretty enjoyable and well cast. There was one girl who seemed to have a need to be a real nonstop b--h to a guy she just met and I never figured out why. But that seemed like the only real bad character writing for me.

Anyway, some may like it, but I doubt if I'll be watching any more episodes.

NOT A HALLMARK!

I am always hesitant to watch these Christmas specials but this one I am so,so,so glad I did - like the title says - it's not a Hallmark. This show was so well done, extremely witty one liners, wholesome love stories and such a talented cast! The cast has such an incredible dynamic - it's like seeing actual best friends on screen. I loved this show and laughed the entire time. I wish we had more than 5 episodes!!!! Sam was my favourite character! Such a cute lead!!!!! 😊 so many love stories to be invested in!

The only thing that makes me sad is that it's a Christmas show and I'm hoping they bring it back. Can we bring back another season!!! Easter?!??! Halloween?! We need a season 2!!! Please!

Fun Show with Tons of Christmas Movie Nods

It's fun as someone who loves Christmas movies to see all the references written into this show. This was better than our family expected! It moves fast too! It's a great example of how much it's enjoyable to watch a show more than a movie because it moves so quickly. As you're watching, look for nods to movies like Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, It's a Wonderful Life and much more. I don't have more to say but IMDb has created this silly requirement to make you add hundreds of characters. It leads to needless drivel. Let them know it's annoying like I have so we can have real, authentic reviews again.

The best holiday comedy tv show of all time!

This show is just amazing! I saw the trailer and thought it'd be funny, but wow, it's way funnier than I expected. The voiceovers and one-liners are on point; every joke lands perfectly.

Most of the characters are great, but Marissa feels a bit disconnected from the group. Ronnie, though, is fantastic! What's cool is how they're all tied together by shared secrets. It's fascinating to see how each character brings out unexpected emotions in the others.

I love that it's set in a mall because I'm a huge fan of malls. But a whole TV show based there? That's really interesting. What I find most impressive is how the show handles multiple storylines effortlessly. There's a love story, a mystery, and more. Plus, it's not just entertainment; it gets deep into themes like love and relationships, giving you stuff to think about.

I've only seen the first episode, but I can already tell the finale will be something really special, one of those rare things that stays with you for a long time.
