After watching this Film I felt that this is an overall one time watchable movie,After Unni Mukundan's mass violence packed movie MARCO we had a power punched figure of the actor in our mind. The stylish attire, the mass attitude, the really muscular physique all was shattered to pieces after seeing this Film. I even randomly selected this film as I need to escape the extreme summer hot climate. And the story telling is also not so fresh. Overall If you have some money and would like to escape this scorching heat grab your seats and experience this film with a chilled ambience. After all it is your opinion to whether watch it or not .

A light breezy feel good movie set on the backdrop of a hospital.
The story moves through the life of a Male gynaec and how he loses the control of his personal life when he reaches at the helm of his career.
A distinctive attempt by Y V Rajesh & Anoop Ravindran in portraying the professional life of a Male Gynaec through light humour induced narration. Vinay has executed the story effectively incorporating romance, brotherhood, and family drama in the story. A hooking element or freshness was missing in the story in overall but Vinay Govind has dealt the subject fairly.
Unni Mukundan has given a subtle and natural performance in the story and made a good pair with Nikhila and they have worked out the dynamics pretty well in the story. Surabhi,Ganga Meera,Punyalan Elizabeth,Fara Shibla,Abhiram,Sudheesh,Muthumani,Shyam & Dinesh Prabhakar has made notable performances in the movie.
Get Set Baby is a genuine and fair attempt from the POV of a Male gynaec making it a passable entertainer.

I wanted a clean, family movie to watch with my parents ( both well into 60s - and cannot digest the new-age ultra violence movies).
The best movies currently in the movies which could fit into this seems to be Get-Set-Baby ( Soubin's Malakha is released - but found it less interesting than this one - atleast, thats what I got from the trailers).
The movie starts really strong and the first half is really good - with Unni Mukundan doing a pretty decent job, while the supporting cast was really good, the pacing, the story, cinematography all, rooted, real, compelling and engaging,
Second half was mixed according to me - some logical flaws ( dont get into those as it might spoil, but the triggers for Unni Mukundan's character seems a bit far-fetched, atleast the immediate nature of it getting introduced, it could have been slowly introduced or paced better ) But Unni's acting in the second half, especially the emotions scenes were the weakest portions for me - it almost made it disconnected at times.
But all in all - it was a pretty, clean, decent family movie - my parents enjoyed it well as well.

I get that there are only a few stories in the world, and every movie or book is an improvised iteration of those. But show something at least for the sake of improvement.
Get-Set Baby is just the age-old template feel-good movie, where the central character is ambitious and tries to make a space for himself professionally. The movie shows the age-old technique of showing senior professionals as compassionless towards others and the hero despising it, thinking that he would not do that when he gets to their position. I have been watching this in movies from the time when I was born. Seriously, still in 2025? Just like in the template, the hero faces an issue, all the people who used to praise him start to blame him, and he finally comes out clean and tries to start a new life.
The positives for me were the performances of the characters, especially Unni Mukundan. Nikhila did pretty well too. The supporting cast was good, special mention to Sudheesh and Surabhi.
A template flick, not bad for a one time watch.
