Starts out fine, then deviates from thesis

The description: "Jonathan and Drew Scott put their renovation superpowers to work to help homeowners tackle insurmountable challenges and fix the issues they live with and hate when moving isn't an option, hoping the families will ultimately come to love their homes." (via HGTV page for this show).

What it turned into: The Property Brothers Las Vegas Home 2.0

"Moving isn't an option" --> Parents literally just moved into town with the intention of making this their final home.

"Unsurmountable challenges" --> Renovate a freshly-bought out-of-date home to fit their big hosting plans.

"fix the issues they live with and hate" --> Haven't even lived there yet. Instead, they are living in Drew and Scott's guest houses as they wait an exceptionally long time for permit approval that lasts several episodes.
