Some of these actors appear in just a few Christmas movies between other projects, while others have essentially built a career around their work with Hallmark. And while it's easy to look at the ads for Hallmark holiday movies and see a variety of plug-and-play, generic brunettes, each of the channel's leading men has their own niche and strengths that they bring to their performances.

Corey Sevier is playing Carl in the new Hallmark Channel movie Everything Christmas and you might be interested to know a little more about his personal life!

The 39-year-old Canadian actor is a regular on the Hallmark Channel and he doesn’t only star in the network’s movies, he also directs some of them.

When he was a child, Corey got his big break starring in the Lassie remake from the late 1990s. He also appeared in the short-lived Fox series North Shore, which also starred Kristoffer Polaha and Jason Momoa.

It’s not just about those repeats of A Christmas Story on TNT anymore.

Multiple linear channels and streamers are getting into the holiday spirit this month and next by dropping original Christmas movies, as well as old favorites and one-off holiday specials. As usual, Hallmark has wall-to-wall flicks planned until the end of the month, but Great American Family, Lifetime and BET have their own original slates as well to help ring in the new year.

And if the classics are all that you are looking for, there are still airings of It’s a Wonderful Life, Elf, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Home Alone, The Santa Cause, The Wizard of Oz and Miracle on 34th Street scheduled for the boomers and Gen Xers.
