Harrowing

This documentary gives more information surrounding one of Britain's most disturbing series of murders. The documentary outlines the case, the stories of each of the poor children that fell victim to the evil that preyed on them, and follows the families of the victims following this in search of their bodies. It really is a heartbreaking documentary that stays with you for some time. The film deals with the horrible situation in a fairly sympathetic way, and gives the families an opportunity to speak out about what happened. There won't be a dry eye in the house.

Its not bad.

Pretty decent documentary if you like true crime ones, however one of the mothers in it talks so strange - you can't really understand half of what shes saying. Its so weird it kind of takes my attention away from the story. Good information tho, worth a watch if you don't know anything about it.

Harrowing

Oh, my goodness, what a harrowing experience watching this film is. It's meticulously put together, with some incredibly intimate interviews and it brings home to you in sharp relief just how barbaric these murders and murderers were. Definitely a very difficult watch, but really impressive. Highly recommended, if you can bear the very emotive subject matter.

The Moors Murders

Myra Hindley died three years after this documentary was released, but she had already been surplanted as Britain's most notorious female killer by Rosemary West. Even so, she remained the most hated. Herein we hear from the still grieving mothers of her and Brady's victims as well as Peter Topping, the man who led the investigation.

True crime buffs will be familiar with the later developments, including the games Brady played with the police, and Hindley's attempts to portray herself as an accessory after the facts if not entirely innocent, but the one surprising thing here are the crime scene photographs of their last victim and a photograph of the young girl they tortured at 16 Wardle Brook Avenue.

There have been many far worse monsters since, but the fascination for this particular killer couple is likely to continue long after many of their successors have been buried and forgotten.
