Exclusive: William Moseley (The Chronicles of Narnia franchise) and Mark Valley (Boston Legal) are leading Luca Elmi’s new film Hostage, a thriller that will soon wrap principal photography this week in Kentucky.

Written by Drew Ingram and produced by his Stagmoor Studios, Hostage follows a charismatic politician’s road to the governor’s office as it takes an unexpected twist when he becomes embroiled in a high-stakes hostage situation that forces him to confront his past and threatens to derail his path to power.

Moseley stars as ‘Logan Marshall,’ a man in his prime; a rising political star and the Independent candidate in the upcoming Kentucky gubernatorial election. The kind of politician every voter wants to believe in, a proud Kentuckian, handsome, young, charismatic, and commanding, with a supportive wife, Clara Marshall, and their daughter, Amelia, by his side. But beneath the surface, Logan is a man barely holding it together.

Americans have a soft spot when it comes to royals and Hallmark Channel knows this. In March, A series of royal rom-coms is set to premiere with some of fans’ favorite stars.

The second in line is Royal-ish, where “Love is a walk in the theme park.” Meanwhile, this rom-com stars Nichole Sakura (The Finnish Line) and William Mosely (A Notting Hill Christmas).

Moreover, child actress Francesca Europa plays a young princess. Read on to learn more about this upcoming movie with a royal twist.

Hallmark is unleashing a set of Royal Movies starting with The Royal We. This stars Francesca Quinn, Pi star Mallory Jansen, and Reign star Charlie Carrick. What happens when a sheltered princess suddenly becomes the substitute for an arranged marriage? She is set to marry the guy that was picked out for her sister! Will this be a royal disaster or will they live happily ever after like all princess fairy tales?

This movie is described as a romance and romantic comedy. Therefore, plan on some laughs along with some stately, but romantic moments.

Two Christmas series are trending on Netflix, and they couldn't be more different. Netflix's library contains a diverse array of Christmas titles. Although their roster includes an ever-shifting array of acquired movies and TV shows that come and go as licensing contracts change, their holiday season offerings for 2024 have included theatrical titles such as A Bad Moms Christmas and Journey to Bethlehem as well as a huge list of Hallmark CHannel movies including Haul Out the Holly, Christmas with a Kiss, Christmas in Notting Hill, A Biltmore Christmas, and A Merry Scottish Christmas.

However, since the late 2010s, they have also built out a huge roster of Netflix original Christmas movies, many of which take place in an interconnected universe. This includes the Princess Switch and A Christmas Prince trilogies, A Castle for Christmas, and The Knight Before Christmas. However, they also have many other holiday-themed offerings including holiday versions...

With Halloween behind us, it’s time for Christmas movies. While Hallmark+ has hundreds of holiday films, some popular ones from 2023 aren’t on the app yet but are now on Netflix.

The Hallmark Channel kicked off its 15th annual Countdown to Christmas event in October, with new movies every weekend and holiday films streaming around the clock.

However, if you’re looking for the ones below featuring Hallmark stars like Andrew Walker, Bethany Joy Lenz, Kris Polaha, Lacey Chabert, and Jonathan Bennett, you can now find them on Netflix.

With Halloween officially over, it’s time for Christmas movies. While the Hallmark+ streaming app has hundreds of holiday movies, some of their favorites from 2023 are not yet on the app but have been added to Netflix.

It’s not just about those repeats of A Christmas Story on TNT anymore.

Multiple linear channels and streamers are getting into the holiday spirit this month and next by dropping original Christmas movies, as well as old favorites and one-off holiday specials. As usual, Hallmark has wall-to-wall flicks planned until the end of the month, but Great American Family, Lifetime and BET have their own original slates as well to help ring in the new year.

And if the classics are all that you are looking for, there are still airings of It’s a Wonderful Life, Elf, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Home Alone, The Santa Cause, The Wizard of Oz and Miracle on 34th Street scheduled for the boomers and Gen Xers.

And yes, on the big days, several channels have do have marathon programming events.
