Netflix is getting into the Christmas spirit. The streaming platform is expanding its holiday content with new Hallmark holiday movies. The media giants are joining forces to make your holidays bright.

Stream Hallmark Holiday Movies

Hallmark continues to be the home for holiday movies. As many as 50 movies are set to premiere on the Hallmark Channel in 2024 alone. New shows will also be available on the Hallmark Mystery and its new streaming platform, Hallmark+.

Finding Hallmark’s movie might be more difficult if you don’t have a cable subscription. Some of those movies might leave Peacock. However, new movies can be watched live and on-demand three days after their release.

On November 1, Netflix welcomed new Hallmark holiday films such as A Bitmore Christmas, Christmas on Cherry Lane, A Heidelberg Holiday, Miracle in Bethlehem, and A Merry Scottish Christmas. You can read the entire list via Showbiz CheatSheet.

With Halloween officially over, it’s time for Christmas movies. While the Hallmark+ streaming app has hundreds of holiday movies, some of their favorites from 2023 are not yet on the app but have been added to Netflix.

Hallmark Channel officially launched the 15th annual Countdown to Christmas event in October (full schedule here), with new movies airing each weekend and holiday movies now streaming 24/7. However, if looking for the below, which star some of the fan favorites Hallmark stars including Andrew Walker, Bethany Joy Lenz, Kris Polaha, Lacey Chabert and Jonathan Bennett, they’re now available to stream on Netflix.

A new, original musical rom-com is coming to Hallmark Channel with A Carol For Two starring Ginna Claire Mason, Jordan Litz and Charlotte D’Amboise.

Ginna Claire Mason is returning to the Hallmark Channel for a new movie!

The 33-year-old actress stars alongside Frédéric Brossier in the new movie A Heidelberg Holiday.

Ginna previously starred in the network’s 2022 Christmas movie A Holiday Spectacular. She also starred as Glinda in Wicked on Broadway.

After meeting in 2010, Ginna and pilot husband Eric Moffett married in June 2013. Eric had just passed his final aviation science examinations when he proposed in the summer of 2012.

The couple now share two kids – son Cooper, 2, and daughter Annabelle, who was born in April 2023.

A Heidelberg Holiday marks Frédéric first Hallmark movie. He is best known for starring in the German gay comedy series All You Need.

Here’s the synopsis for the new Hallmark movie: “Glass ornament maker Heidi heads to Germany to sell her items at the prestigious Heidelberg Christmas Market in Germany. During her trip, she connects with a local artisan Lukas, who helps her reconnect with her lost heritage.”

A Heidelberg Holiday premieres on Hallmark on Sunday, Nov. 12 at 8/7c.

It’s not just about those repeats of A Christmas Story on TNT anymore.

Multiple linear channels and streamers are getting into the holiday spirit this month and next by dropping original Christmas movies, as well as old favorites and one-off holiday specials. As usual, Hallmark has wall-to-wall flicks planned until the end of the month, but Great American Family, Lifetime and BET have their own original slates as well to help ring in the new year.

And if the classics are all that you are looking for, there are still airings of It’s a Wonderful Life, Elf, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Home Alone, The Santa Cause, The Wizard of Oz and Miracle on 34th Street scheduled for the boomers and Gen Xers.

And yes, on the big days, several channels have do have marathon programming events.
