I really wish people would give more honest ratings, it is ruining IMDB. Certainly slapstick, campy and silly but it made me laugh a lot. Perhaps, it is a bit over the top and not to your liking but why give it a 1-3, is it really the worse movie ever? It is probably not as good as the first one but not 1-3 bad and to be honest more Kim Won-Hae is the reason that the 1st one was funnier. I actually almost did not watch it due to the IMDB rating but I am happy decided to watch it despite the low ratings. It seems IMDB specifically with Korea TV will have to be taken with a grain of salt or not used at all until they can figure out who to folter out these spurious numbers.
Well, it started strong until it dragged on and on to one single issue all throughout the entire 16 episodes. Imagine taking this long to address that drug problem , I guess the reason shy the audience grew tired of the series. I just hope the antagonist here though had a better ending especially with the kind of the storyline this series built for him - it's korean style (like how they create drama for u to grow to love the characters) but only wasn't given justice. It is a very sad ending for him. There are also a couple of characters here in the series that you can take away and there will be no great of an impact if you remove them - like the two homeless couple in the beginning. They could have just been there consistently with the main character so as to add life to the main character cos seriously, the main protaganist's life is kind of boring.. like we haven't seen much of her in the series aside from her spy and police assistant role. If this would have another season, I hope there would be a more complex plot.
Different approach with the original Bong Soon, pretty good for a light watch, funny but a bit boring at the same time. This drama belong to fantasy comedy and a bit exaggerated i guess? If you are not a fan of unrealistic/silly drama you better skip this one.
I dont get why people are saying the female lead is a bad actress who cant act (Lee Yoo Mi) i think she really suit the character and deliver it really well, innocent Mongolian nomad girl with an accent, kinda childish, cute, innocent, and bubbly. The villain actor also doing a really great job with his acting skill and expression, you can really feel he is a total psycho.
Whats surprising is only a few people mentioning how bad the lead protagonist actor Ong Seong Woo is, from the very first episode i cant help but notice that his dialog, expression and body language is so stiff and unnatural (not a hater okay) this is my first time seeing his acting so im not sure how he did in other drama, i dont think he is a main lead level yet.

It's kind of...something. In the light category, action comedy series, a bit fantastic, with the inevitable love story. It wants to be a sequel to Strong Womans Do Bong Soon, and it even has a small cameo in ep.3 but...it's far from the first series. Lee Yoo-Mi is cute, especially when she plays with a Mongolian accent, and the image quality is much better than in the first series. This can also be from the alternative source, because the geniuses at Netflix removed the original from the European grid.
However, as a scenario, comic moments, even special effects, it is much more diluted than the original.
Until now, the "geniuses" at Netflix have only released the first 5 episodes, but if the screenwriter continues with the inspiration hangover, it will not compare to the one in 2017.

I enjoyed the orig. Strong Woman Do Bong-soon with Park Kyung-sik as the hapless ML to Park Bo-young's supernaturally strong heroine.
In the sequel series, I liked the FL and her raised in Mongolia innocence and the ML cop was okay but there were too many generations of strong women for me. Too many competing plot lines and heroines taking action to care enough about any in particular. More is not better here. And a heroine with no kryptonite weakness but the "do good or lose your powers" is meh unless it's used cleverly against her in a way different from the earlier series. But no.
The villain strikes poses, han d in pocket casual, than a sullen Gucci model. Byron was a model first and has not overcome his affectless demeanor here. I think he's better in later work. Here, he's a visually-striking nothing burger.
I've watched half and that's enough. DNF.
