    Wide Vistas, Inner Struggles!

Use of wide-angle shots. These sweeping vistas helped establish the film's tone, perfectly capturing the vastness and isolation felt by the Nepalese migrant workers. The story structure was also well-crafted, effectively portraying the struggles of Hansi, the central character.

Shots beautifully showcased the contrasting landscapes - the vastness of India against the implied closeness of Hansi's homeland. This technique effectively highlighted the sense of displacement experienced by the migrant workers.

The film sheds light on the identity struggles faced by Nepalese migrants in India. Hansi's story is a powerful representation of their fight to maintain their identity while navigating a foreign land.

Hansi's internal conflict is portrayed with nuance. We see his desperation to earn money for his family clashing with his own moral compass. This creates a layered and relatable character.

The film cleverly uses Hansi's moments of genuine ignorance to provide comedic relief. This innocence adds depth to his character and underscores the harsh realities he faces.

Bahadur the Brave is a powerful film that deserves recognition for its social commentary, beautiful cinematography, and well-developed characters.

The small moving story, close to heart....

Many of us have met many 'bahadurs' in India and other places. I have travelled to Nepal, and closely been in touch with their culture for a brief time. This movie made me realise a hidden/different side of daily life and of COVID times of these bahadurs. Thank you Diwa for this spectacle. God bless you! I am going home, to talk to my neighbour guard, Devraj from Nepal .... Thank you for giving me an opportunity to share a smile with him. Cinematography, original sound, scenes of the hills brought out the depth in the story. I wish Diwa all the best for all her future endeavours. Wishing well to Hansi as well.

    Well crafted film

The movie revolves around Nepalese migrant workers during covid, as it follows our protagonist Hansi, while he avoids going back to his native.

There's a great attention to detail, and the writing is very strong. From showing the social structures in society and their privilege, even though shown in a subtle manner, it got the point across.

The stunning visuals on the locations draws the viewer in right from the start, and shots are set such that we see the workers in the backdrop of the society.

The entire movie is light-hearted and yet had an ominous undertone. The ending is beautiful, as it was sad and yet hopeful.

    Realistic, well written and engaging

As someone who has regularly travelled to Nepal since 15 years, trekked with many a 'Bahadur' and narrowly missed being incarcerated on the other side of the border during the pandemic, I found this story very relatable - including the part where 'cross border people' often got demonized as 'disease carriers'. Shah has written a very realistic log of how our bureaucracy behaved at that time and her DOP with the cast have brought the story to life in a very engaging way. This was one of the few movies with stationary wide frames and minimal hooks that kept the audience in rapt attention. Rupesh's rendition of a 'quirky' Hansi is brilliant.

    Best humanity based film ever

One of the most realistic and must watch film. I just love the way showcase reality in this movie, The comedy, drama & reality which portrait in this film is lajawab. The corona phase is very difficult for everyone but when you showcasing a person who living a life for others family people.

"Every person needs other person to be part in their life to live a life" it's not always like husband and wife, sometimes friend, relative or caretaker of your house, all persons are equal and you have to treat them, show some love as equal. This film will go that level to think who the person you are. And best part of this movie is The location, craft, writing and of course acting , Hats off to the director diwa and thanks for this incredible film.
