Bhasme Don (2023), the sequel to Pashupati Prasad, follows the journey of Bhasme Don (Bipin Karki) as he searches for his biological parents while struggling to gather money. The film delivers emotional depth and humor, driven by Karki's outstanding performance. However, it relies heavily on nostalgia from its predecessor, making the story feel somewhat repetitive. While the cinematography and music enhance the experience, some viewers may find the plot predictable. Overall, Bhasme Don is an engaging film with strong acting but falls short of the impact Pashupati Prasad had. It is the nice movie.
I am really really disappointed with the climax of the movie. It was same as the first part of the movie, just that the same thing is happening with Bhasme don in this movie. . The Bhasme don character was entertaining, but the purpose of the characters are so confusing and conflicting at some places. And the plots are so messy, I kept questioning what the hell is happening here. They are also repetitive but happening with different characters. Being a very big fan of Pashupati Prasad, I had little more expectations from the 2nd part. But I am very disappointed with what happened at the end. The cameo at the end was even more confusing.
Pashupati Prasad 2: Bhasme Don is a powerful sequel that lives up to its predecessor's emotional depth while adding a fresh perspective. Directed by Dipendra K. Khanal, the film focuses on Bhasme Don's journey, blending humor, struggle, and hope seamlessly. Bipin Karki delivers an outstanding performance, portraying Bhasme Don's complex character with remarkable authenticity. The movie sheds light on societal issues like poverty and survival, making it both heartwarming and heartbreaking. Its strong storytelling, relatable characters, and emotional impact make it a must-watch for anyone who appreciates meaningful Nepali cinema.
Pashupati Prasad 2: Bhasmey Don was a movie I eagerly anticipated after enjoying the first installment. Sadly, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment as I realized that this sequel offered nothing more than a recycled plot with different characters and styles.
The story felt like a replay of the original, making it challenging to distinguish between the two films. The story's of character, while new, lacked depth and failed to capture my interest in the same way as the original first 1. I had hoped for fresh twists and turns, but they were conspicuously absent. There were only turns for me.
On the positive side, the movie retained the high production values and impressive cinematography of the first film. However, these technical aspects couldn't make up for the lack of originality in the story. They missed the mark by delivering a lackluster rehash that failed to recapture the charm of the original.
In the end, "Pashupati Prasad 2: Bhasmey Don" was a missed opportunity to build on the strengths of its predecessor. It left me feeling disappointed as a fan of the franchise, and it's difficult to justify a high rating when the film essentially repeats the same formula without bringing any meaningful innovation to the table.
Hoping to get good sequel, Pashupati Prasad 3 where it will be good ending of some characters.

If you go to the theatre expecting it to be a gem like pashupati prasad it's no way near but in the crowd of Nepalese movies this still stands better than the crowds. The script seems out of idea as you witness the the same "dejavu" moments where only character are swapped . Instead of pashupati here is bhasme with his unique set of problems . Few of the characters choices during the movie seems not so natural specially "mitbaa " . The writer needs to understand that only tragedy doesn't sell .
Bipin Karki and saugat malla are the shining stars however. The background music was the most annoying to me , too much loud making the movie viewing worse . Still recommended, love nepali movies it's better than average.
