Can't believe it's a movie by new comers. Acting is so polished of all the lead actors in the movie. Two songs of the movie have to go on to win atleast one award. Background music is good and strot telling and scenes are nice. Tales of Mahanagara is a good work by the new comers in Kannada industry. Hope they go long way. Movie promised more and could have become a hit had it not missed little things like using some superstar for a cameo. Hence giving 9 out of 10 ratings. One never realizes how soon this 2 hour movie ends and hence have to say it's a good timepass movie. Must watch. Waiting for OTT.

Movie "Tales of Mahanagara" keeps you occupied and it feels just an hour and a half as the movie goes at nice pace. Music is very fresh and one can easily say the two songs would have been smash hits had they been in a movie of Superstars like Yash, Shivanna Or Sudeep. To think that this is afrom new comers wrt music director, director, lead characters and technicians is good good effort, nonetheless. Hope more new comers with talent are unearthed and Kannada industry goes a long way. Teaser in Kiccha Sudeepa's voice was also good. Sampath Maitreya stands out despite two good performance from male and female lead.

Good movie to watch with family, it has a lot of action and thrilling scenes. As the movie was made by new actors and directors the effort is appreciated. It was a fun watch with family and friends as there were some cast around our own society who did a good job. The camera work on some action scenes and background music was enjoyable. There were no scenes which would be embarrassing to watch with kids so the movie is an enjoyable one. Recommend watching the movie over a weekend along with friends and family for a good experience and to encourage the local community we all reside in. Overall a great experience.

Nice direction, acting, screenplay... .. It starts with interesting story of car driver and it builds with other stories.. Amazing part is camara angles and background scores.. Really interesting.. Though the actors are new, they all performed like a professionals.. The quality of PICTURISATIon can be seen from this movie.. Songs are really good and melodious.. I watched it twice.. And would like to watch one more time.. Overall nice movie.. And it entertains throughout the movie to the audience.. One drawback can be.. Should have used any one of the stars like Sudeep Or Darshan as a guest appearance.. !!!!

Story , screenplay n direction is excellent a complete suspense thrilling movie in kannada film . Athav acting is superb as a new comer his performance is too good .New comers ge encourage madbeku kannada industry nalli and i felt so sad that yesterday was a last day in mantri mall n today my friends had gone to see the movie but non of the theatres r not screening it in . Hardly 2 weeks it screened in atheatres. I really pity about this film producers. Bcoz if it is not screening in theatres atleast they should release in OTT platform, where they can showcase it ,now a days peoples r not watching movies in theatres almost all sitting at home n watching in OTT.

This movie has very good story with good to message younger collage going boys and all movie plus point is background music to take story tight and neat go also all song in first half movie made to to sit but hear director has taken care about each character not to more film style he has taken acting from each character established in first half of movie to clear audience point of you about characters in the second half of the movie goes very fast where the story and the characters are done well together in movie we have to support more young generation to come Kannada film industry please watch.

A film by youngesters crew. No doubt must be watched by and with family members. Though fist half looked lil bit slow, second half was made fast and ending was GREAT.. Congratulations and All the best to crew. I wish them to come.up with such good film in the nearest future again. The characters selected were great. KUDOS to the team... team work always works. I'm writing the review for the first time and this movie made me to do this. Went to the theatre without any expectations and it blew my mind. Can never tell that this movie is made by newcomers. I'm very sure that this team will be of a great asset to the kannada film industry. First of all kudos to the whole. From acting to direction and from music to camerawork everything is done so well. I would request people of Karnataka to support such new talents. Only if we encourage these talents we could expect more from this team. I can assure you that this movie won't disappoint anyone. Please support this movie.

Watched this movie and really liked it so much.. Thriller movie and movie feels like real incident. Atharv has acted very well doesn't feel like a new hero all the artist in the movie have acted very well. Arere song and idu Bangalore kananna song is fantastic feels like listening again and again. All over it is a superb movie. Movie is very much thrilling till the end and second half of the movie is very nicely narrated... Thanks for the whole team for such a nice movie and also there is a moral in this movie. We wish a very good luck for the tales of mahanagar team and also we wish and encourage to make more movies like this.

Tales of mahanagara one off the best movie i have ever watched... Screenplay direction is just outstanding... Every single scene gives goosebumps.. Even though all artist are new comers they have given there best. Songs are soo beautiful and soo melody.. Climax of this movie is so heart touching... Atharv the main lead of this movie has done a wonderful job and the heroine ramola looks so cute on the screen... Kiran sir director of this movie has directed so well hats off to u sir and also hats off to the whole team. I request all kannadigas to watch this movie and support kannada movies......

The film takes you to the life of people in bangalore. Every artist have put their at most effort in bringing out the movie in its way .. The story line is awesome Screen play is good. All over a very gud entertainers.

Atharv vijay it is it's first movie. But does seem like. He has good acting skills. Ramola was too gud in her execution. The director has a different way of showcasing the whole movie. A mixture of story with a final suspense twist in the end. I would suggest all of u to watch the movie in theaters and support the whole team.

Watched good movie if I want to say all about film starts in order from story line is very nice simple strong message ,director has done nice job where u cannot say he is newcomer about cameraman work in every scene in movie he done good natural mood light for any film music important where u can see with background music movie give one good shape movie first half director has taken work all artists good with character and second half movie goes very fast suspense thriller where audiences hold to sit and watch movies till end lastly all newcomer artists has to promote hardwork u can see screen.

Tales of Mahanagara is worth watching. Tales of Two Cities by Charles Dickens of Victorian era deals with two places , Tales of Mahanagara deals with two groups. Influential politician, greedy police and a unscrupulous scientist all with ulterior motive as first group and the second group is a time bound call girl, jilted husband , taxi driver with his love and a few unfortunate prisoners ( all orphans) brought under one roof in an inevitable and unavoidable situation. The first group is trying to kill them to cover up and hide their wrong doings. The orphans show their magnanimity, humanity and their togetherness while escaping but not without a price ( Sidda). Finally good wins over evil . Thanks to Samaritan police.

The story , acting , music , cinematography,direction , editing are all of high standard and realistic. The efforts of all debut artists are commendable.

Tales of Mahanagara is one the finest kannada movie in the recent times. Everyone has done justice in their respective department. The story and screenplay is the highlight of the film and the climax is one of the best in the Kannada films. Special mention to atharv who has written the script and acted as Manu, the cab driver. Music is commendable and has created magic. Cinematography is excellent. Director has crafted the film so well, it was a surprise for me seeing a new comer doing such good direction. It doesn't feel like it a movie done by new comers in all the field, be it direction, acting, editing, cinematography. All the very best to the entire team. It has lots of twists and turns. The story takes a wild turn many times so it's a roller coaster ride throughout doesn't bore. Gets tensed at times Must watch great movie!

Doesn't look like movie from new comers. Tales of Mahanagara stands out for Direction, acting, music. Music is the heart of the movie. "Idu Bengaluru Kannana" is the song of the year and "Arrere" is just awesome. Sothe performance of the lead characters Atharv, Ramola, RJ Anoopa and the stalwart of the performances by Sampath Maitreya. Background score esp the two songs do not bore you no matter how many times you listen to them. Story is decent and could have been better but nonetheless a good effort. Wishing a long and successful career to all new comers in this movie. Kannada industry needs movies and artists.
