Paramount+’s latest purge of content is ruining childhoods, as a substantial number of Nickelodeon shows have or will soon be removed from the platform. While many have become used to discovering old titles such as Doug, Big Time Rush, My Life as a Teenage Robot, Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness, and The Penguins of Madagascar on Paramount+, the decision to remove these and more titles has left many feeling like their ability to relive their childhoods in a nostalgic moment is being abruptly taken away.

Other affected shows include Breadwinners, Game Shakers, House of Anubis, Wonder Pets, Alvinnn!!! and the Chipmunks, Fanboy & Chum Chum, Sanjay & Craig, and Welcome to the Wayne, with the removals drawing a strong reaction from people who grew up with some of these programs. “Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” stars Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu and Brady Noon appeared at Comic-Con to preview the teen turtles’ latest adventure — this time a 12-episode series for Paramount+.

The quartet (who reprise their roles from the 2023 movie “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem”) were joined onstage by executive producers and showrunners Chris Yost and Alan Wan (“Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” and the 2012 series “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”), as well as Alanna Ubach, who joins the crew as the villainous Bishop.

Sanjay And Craig is a weird but humorous Nickelodeon show about twelve-year-old Sanjay and his anthropomorphic pet snake. Unsurprisingly, a show aimed at ages six and above contains a lot of childlike humor, including a talking snake who wears his hat backward, numerous episodes about farts, and a few more episodes on number twos.

The show was not a particular Nickelodeon success, running for only three seasons. But, what it lacked in longevity, the animated cartoon made up for in absurdity and surreal humor that made viewers laugh. Some of the show's humor entered into crass or stereotypical territory, but the show has a simplicity that is charming.

Ninja Batman brings a unique take on the iconic characters of Batman and with a unique take, you have to bring a unique cast along with it. One of the newest additions to the Warner Bros. Animation casting is Arrested Development‘s Tony Hale. We caught up with Hale earlier this year during a roundtable at the premiere of Batman Ninja.

Q: What was it like jumping into the Joker’s shoes?

Tony Hale: Well I typically, I played more passive and quirky stuff, this guy is quirky but it’s fun to play dark and get really crazy. In “Veep”, the show I do there’s always this understanding of like lets get as real as possible, lets get subtle kind of comedy, this you can just goes nuts.

Beginning Saturday, Jan. 9, at 8 p.m. (Et/Pt), viewers can catch up with all their favorite live-action shows including Game Shakers, Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn and 100 Things To Do Before High School.

The rollout continues on Sunday, Jan. 10, at 11 a.m. (Et/Pt) with the return of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles season four.

Ahead of season 6, Fox has cemented the future of Bob’s Burgers by ordering season 7 and 8, too…

Great news, this – Fox has ordered two more seasons of the brilliant animated comedy Bob’s Burgers. Ahead of the release of season 6, they’ve ordered seasons 7 and 8 as well.

Loren Bouchard and Bento Box Entertainment created the show, which has certainly built itself a solid audience. It also earned itself an Emmy (in 2014, for Outstanding Animated Comedy) and will see the broadcast of its 100th episode as part of season 6. All wonderful achievements, there.

"In a way your 100th episode should be almost like your pilot all over again,” said Bouchard of the landmark. “I think a good 100th episode shouldn’t be big and crazy. It should be the quintessential Bob’s Burgers episode."

Legend of Korra fans can stop debating the titular heroine’s feelings for former-rival Asami; the Nickelodeon series’ creators have set the record straight about the final scene of Friday’s series finale.

“Our intention with the last scene was to make it as clear as possible that yes, Korra and Asami have romantic feelings for each other,” co-creator Michael Dante Dimartino writes in a Tumblr post. “The moment where they enter the spirit portal symbolizes their evolution from being friends to being a couple.”

Episodes of Nickelodeon shows such as Sanjay and Craig and Spongebob Squarepants can be streamed on demand, as well as episodes of Nick Jnr programming including Peppa Pig and Dora the Explorer.

The Now TV Entertainment Month Pass grants access to live and catch-up from other satellite channels like Sky Atlantic, Sky 1, Disney and UK Gold for £4.99 per month with no contractual obligation.

Now TV is available on iPad, iPhone, Android, the Now TV boxes, Roku, LG Smart TVs, PC and Mac, PS3, PS4 and Xbox 360.

Season two of Sanjay and Craig is set to debut next month but fans don't have to worry about that possibly being the end. Variety reports that Nickelodeon has renewed the animated series for a third season of 20 episodes.

Created by Jim Dirschberger, Jay Howell and Andreas Trolf, Sanjay and Craig revolves around the adventures of a 12-year-old Indian-American boy named Sanjay (Maulik Pancholy) and his best friend Craig (Chris Hardwick), a talking snake. Other voice actors include Matt Jones, Linda Cardellini, Nika Futterman, Tony Hale, Kunal Nayyar, and Grey DeLisle.

The animated series has done very well for the cable channel, attracting an average of three million viewers per episode and a 4.9 rating among kids ages 2-11.

Sanjay and Craig is the latest cartoon from Nickelodeon. If I’m being honest, I’m not really in the market for a new cartoon. I’ve been digging into the excellent Adventure Time and I have the ongoing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, too. Then there’s South Park. On top of this, I have non-animated TV shows to keep up with. Then there’s films to watch, comics to read and games to play. Plus a job, a family life and other trivialities like that. But certainly, my cartoons dance card is looking pretty full. On finding out the cast and influences of Sanjay and Craig, though, I decided I should at least take a look. And now I have a problem, because it...

Nickelodeon, it would appear, loves Sanjay and Craig as much as everyone else as it is giving the freshman series the chance to strut around with a second season renewal. There’s no denying the animated comedy is a little on the silly side ­– there’s plenty of gross jokes and slapstick humor ­­– but it’s also smart in the way it doesn’t treat its target audience like, well, kids. It doesn’t talk down to anyone and just simply is. Because of that, there are some adults who give the series their blessing. That’s pretty awesome when you think about it. Few children’s programs can be tolerated by grown ups.

According to THR, Sanjay and Craig was given a 20 episode order for its second season, just in time for the final eight episodes of Season 1 to begin airing – Sept. 14 is date the series returns after taking a two month break.

THR reports that Nickelodeon has renewed Sanjay and Craig for a second season. The cable channel has ordered 20 new episodes and they're expected to start airing sometime in 2014.

Sanjay and Craig debuted on May 25th. It stars the voices of Maulik Pancholy and Chris Hardwick with Linda Cardellini, Matt Jones, Tony Hale, Grey DeLisle, and Sandy Dickson also lending their vocal talents.

After a two month break, the show returns this Saturday, September 14th, with the first of the eight remaining episodes from season one.
