This movie has a common but decent premise. Newlyweds buy house where previous owner murdered his wife. New owner picks up bad vibes from the house and goes on rampage.

I'm a haunted/cursed house fan. Thought I'd get a few jump scares. A few creepy moments. Wasn't really expecting much but this came in below even those low expectations.

The acting was so bad I couldn't get more than 15 minutes into it. And when there are ridiculous set ups that early in the movie, there's no hope. I have no idea why this is rated as high as it is.

Please save yourself some pain and watch something else. Pretty much anything else.

This movie sort of reminds me of The Shining in that the main character goes psychotic after living in the house / hotel. The Shining, however, was entertaining and held your interest......this "movie" (in my opinion) is way below low budget. The shots, the close-ups, everything was just atrocious.

I forced myself to try to watch this movie because it somehow received a good rating. I am 40 minutes in and can take no more. The acting is excruciatingly painful to watch.

I'm no movie critic; I'm just an average movie viewer watching for entertainment but if you value your time, I would highly advise you not to watch.

The opening scene of the film captures your eye. That's it. If the rest of the film was like that, then maybe it would be worth your time. But, as others have mentioned, the acting is terrible. It's as if the actors hired had only acted as background extras in other films and were given speaking roles. This could have easily been an enjoyable film had the actors been able to... act.

If you value your time and, ironically, sanity, then i suggest you not spend it watching this. With the consistent camera angle changes and the actors, you will not be able to keep track... the only jump scare? Take a guess...

We had a blast with this film , England has Jack the Ripper, America has : THE AMERICAN RIPPER!! Bobby and Lola seem to find a beautiful house on a lake. Really cool nice place but something goes really wrong there . The past and the future of this couple takes a bad turn . Lola a beautiful girl can't figure out what's happening to her loving happy Attorney husband. Within a short period, Bobbie is having serious issues with reality and coping with something that occured at this new house way before they have made thier annitial purchase. Charles Manson, Ted bundy , Dahmer all rapped in one. !!
